Old, basic rooms. Old bathroom needs refurbishing. Public bathroom of restaurant is dirty and a shame.

Good location if you're cycling along the River Meuse from Namur to Charleville-Mézières.

This is a small very French Hotel, with in easy reach of Calais the staff are very helpful and its position on the river Meuse is very pleasant for evening walks.

No facility to make hot drinks in the room, especially since on Sunday night the bar/restaurant is closed. I was travelling for business and would have appreciated a place to sit and work in the room. I had to sit in the bar to work.. Lack of off-street parking could be an issue in the high season.

Plat du jour menu was excellent value. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. One street from river so easy access to towpath.

Breakfast very uninspiring and for 11 euros per person poor value

Evening meal menu good choice and good value, position on the Meuse couldn't be faulted.

The location was ideal for a cycling holiday. Friendly greeting from staff and nice thick towels. Overall quality much better than expected for a 2 star hotel. Excellent dinner in elegant modern-style dining room.

The beds were too soft and with nylon protection, overall uncomfortable.

The restaurant is quite good (although a vegetarian would suffer there).

Steep staircase to room. Just the general ambience in the public areas. Felt a bit dark and gloomy. In need of a freshen up.

Location. Secure lock up for bikes.

Paint coming off bedroom wall (Rm 1). Squeeky bathroom door. Noisy undercover on bed.

    Easy access to canal towpath.
