Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Beautiful hotel with a great location. You are not far from Cathedral of Notre Dame, restaurants, cafes, grocery, etc. The Latin Quarter is a good location, very quiet area. Hotel and staff are top notch. Breakfast has many choices. Hotel staff are wonderful. We had an early departure for a tour and our taxi and breakfast to go was waiting for us. Andre and Andrea and staff were very helpful.

United States of AmericaElevator is very small will only hold 1 person with larger luggage. Heat had been cut off so to get any air had to open window which resulted in street noise. Night staff not very friendly or efficient.
Good beds and pillows, good selection for breakfast, honor bar for happy hour. Day staff very helpful.

The property is very well located on a quiet, pedestrianised street. It is located very close to the metro, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The Latin Quarter is a lovely, safe area and the hotel is a short walk to lots of beautiful attractions, including Jardin du Luxembourg, The Pabtheon and Norte Dame, to name a few. If you enjoy shopping it is close to many shops too.

IrelandSome people might find the slim line lift claustrophobic, but there's always the stairs.
This hotel was very handy for walking around the city. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast had a wide variety of food. We wanted somewhere that had a unique feel to the rooms as it was our first time to stay in Paris and this hotel certainly had that with lovely decoration throughout and a couple of lovely siting areas. Very helpful staff, and great facility to mind your luggage if you arrive early or want to leave it after checkout.

United States of AmericaThe key process is sort of strange...you have to turn it in each time you leave the hotel and retrieve it each time you return.
The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Has everything you need, extremely quiet due to its location on a pedestrian walkway and not a street. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely salon for relaxing or doing work. Nice Nuxe bath products! Not something typically noticed, but the hair dryer provided was exceptional--not your typical hotel hair dryer! Easy walk to so many sights.

BelgiumThe music in the 'lounge' / library room on floor -1 was a bit too loud. Perhaps classical music would make the atmosphere more 'neutral' to facilitate concentration when you have to work. When other people are in the room and talk, it's rather 'cacophonous'. I listened to my own music with my EarPods and I could then work. You can feel that the building is quite old, which adds to the charm (esp. the 60ies style stairs) but which you can also 'hear': the soundproofing in the rooms/corridors was not great. The design in the room and bathroom was not so 'smart': some hooks to hang coats when entering the room (especially if your coat is wet as it can rain in Paris :) and more storage space in the bathroom would have been useful. The beds and linen were ok but I would have expected better quality for a 4 star standing.
I liked the style of the hotel, including in the rooms. I really liked the 'lounge' / library room, on floor -1, which offers a nice common space to work, read, relax, have a drink or even play some board games made available. The hotel is rather small and recently renovated with good taste. You can feel home. The staff was very nice. The price for the breakfast was reasonable. When I come back in the good season, I'd love to have breakfast or coffee outside in the inner yard which looked lovely. Needless to say: the location of the hotel is great in one of the most wonderful neighbourhoods in Paris; you can find around plenty of nice restaurants and cafés, cinemas, the Luxembourg Park, the Seine... and the Cluny museum is around the corner. One very good additional point: the hotel is on a small street with no traffic.
