The room was a rather small and dated. The bathroom was basically clean but needed a revamp, especially the grouting between the tiles in the shower which was starting to go brown.

The staff, especially Pascale, we're friendly and welcoming and tried to do everything to make the stay a really good experience. The location was also excellent, being in the heart of the village, but only 150 metres from the main ski area

Excellent family-run hotel, slap-bang in the centre of Val d'Isere. Excellent communication before our trip with superb host Pascale, she looked after us very well on our arrival and was very informative about the local area. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, bars and the ski lifts. Good breakfast, nice warm boot room, and comfortable rooms. Would definitely return.

We had to ask for a kettle in the room, but this was provided without any fuss so not really a complaint. Would be nice if the lounge could be open late/24 hours.

Pascale, the host, was a joy and a pleasure. Pascale had such incredible local knowledge, having worked at the hotel since she was a teenager. She linked us up with an off-piste snowboarding guide, provided plenty of delicious restaurant and walking trail recommendations and was so spirited, warm and kind (including when one of us was affected by altitude sickness). Location right in the middle of town was a real bonus.

There is no elevator, so if you get a higher floor, you will need to carry your luggage up. There was no double bed, so instead we got two twins made like a double bed, which is ok, but not ideal.

Location is fantastic, as it is in the mere center of Val d'Isere. Once you get there, you park your car and forget about it. Technically it is not ski in and out, but it is a short walk from the main lifts. The staff is very nice; the owner is the sweetest lady ever and she will try to accommodate anything you need. We really felt super-welcomed and taken care of. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is typically French, with delicious pastries, good cereal variety and fruits. There is also a comfortable ski room available to store your skis and boots during your stay. There is a very cozy chilling area in the ground floor, where you can have drinks and relax after a sporty day. Bottom line, great value for money.

This is a very old French hotel with no elevator. The rooms are on floors 1-3 so if you don't like stairs avoid rooms 14-18!! From the ski storage in the basement that's 4 flights of stairs every day. It can be a bot noisy from 5am with general traffic in the side street. There is NO free parking in Val d'Isere. This hotel has a special rate with another hotel of Euros12 per day.

The staff especially Nikki were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with pastries and fresh fruit etc. The rooms are small but very comfortable with tea & coffee if you ask. Excellent hot water pressure for a good shower! Wi-fi can be slow during apres-ski hours due to high demand. No mountain view, no elevator, not much free space in the room. But considering the price, you get what you pay for. The WiFi was unreliable dropped out quite a bit.

Location was perfect. The breakfast was great and the staff really helpful. The room was quite small but all that we needed anyway as the bed was super comfortable and we were out skiing most of the time.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, it had the feel of a family run hotel. Breakfast is served buffet style in a cozy dinning room with plenty of service offering 'top ups' We were visiting our daughter who is working in the town and she was offered a free breakfast when she joined us on her day off.
