A lot of facilities were closed down for winter although we were notified of this the whole hotel was being closed up for the season (outdoor seating thrown all around outside under cover area on the way back to our room , forgot to clean and refresh our rooms one day , not many staff around and it didn’t feel good , unlike sister hotel which was staying open .

There was no alternative to the tasting menu in the evenings, couldn’t eat the same 7/ 9 courses every night! I don’t think the pictures of the hotel did it justice. Suggest you move all the boxes out of the r/h window which fronts the street, looked very shabby.

Location for breakfast fine, it was expensive, should have been included in the room rate.

The peacefulness of the hotel in the midst of St Remy; the large landscaped garden and the pool. It feels like a little oasis and while the hotel was full, it never felt crowded.

Air con wasn’t working properly

Perfect location right in the centre of St Remy de Provence but extremely quiet. Beautiful big garden and pool. Charming staff.

We found the airconditioning adequate but would have preferred it to be colder. It was however very hot when there. The rooms are very dated but they are large and everything supplied necessary so they were comfortable. The bed was hard but that might be a personal issue. The gardens are large and varied but (perhaps because of covid financial impact) not very well cared for. They could be spectacular with some garden work. Even with all this, we would stay again because it is a perfect location and the best choice if travelling with dogs.

The room was large and had a lovely outlook over the grounds. All the staff were helpful and English was welcomed. The grounds are excellent if you are travelling with a dog. So much space to enjoy and the location is perfect. Free car parking was appreciated and safe and secure. I especially liked how they supplied fresh water each day in the fridge and even bottled water for the dog. Very generous.

Our room was above the hotel driveway so we heard some of the action going on there. While our bathroom was spacious, the shower design caused it to leak every time onto the tile floor.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the center of town. You can walk to restaurants, the Wednesday market, etc.

The lights in our bedroom did not allow us to have the bathroom lit without lighting the bedroom. Not good at night if one required the lavatory

Strangely for a hotel receiving tourists in peak holiday season the bar closed at 9pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

Tight entrance to the garage, be careful. Pool was not as clean as I would have liked Check your bill over charged for breakfast for 3 days 114 € in total until I questioned it
