Pillows were very lumpy, the sofa bed wasn't really big enough for 2 adults but the kids go to bed first so we had to put them in the bedroom. It's a shame that the pool doesn't open until 4pm though as most young children have finished their day by 2pm.

The pool area and facilities were great, bread delivery fantastic and location was great.

Chalet du Gypse was the perfect family holiday. The pool ensured the children were amused after skiing, the proximity to the village with it's great shops and delicious eateries made it easy to shop or dine out and the older children were able to exercise a bit of independence. The access to the slopes was also fantastically easy. The staff were always willing to help and the apartments clean, practical and well stocked. All in all a great place for a family holiday. Thank you!

The pool and sauna area are extensive, but the Chalet is very family orientated and so don't expect a quiet and peaceful wellness experience - there will be kids running around particularly during the school holidays. We've stayed here several times over the past few years and the apartments are starting to show their age.

Excellent location, just next to the slopes, real ski in - ski out. St.Martin dB is a lovely characterful village, which is bypassed by all the masses heading up to Val Thorens. It maybe too quiet for some though

The floorplan of the apartement was not ideal - one of the two toilets was in the hallway, directly next to the kitchen/dining area and with no extra door separated. Not very private, when four out of 6 people are using it. Some of the apartements have bedrooms with windows, that open to the hallway The apartement felt very bare, you need to bring a bit life into it No DVD player

Great ski in /ski out Very nice pool and spa area lovely staff very quiet at night kitchen was well thought equipped with all the necessary items to cook even for a larger group

For the cost, I expected to get the apartment cleaned every day. I was disappointed to learn we had to clean, unmake beds and take out the rubbish.

Location was fantastic as it is within a small town and not purely a resort. This allowed us to mix in and support the local community a little more.

no WiFi access in the room. WiFi only available in reception, and that had limited opening times. This was an inconvenience as I had expected to be able to work during my stay.

Size of the apartment and the pool and leisure facilities

The wifi access was not sufficient for a chalet that accomodated 6 people. Also, we would have used the lounge & pool table, if they had been available during the times we were in the chalet. Finding the lounge area (which included the pool table), closed at 7pm was disappointing.

Location and facilities were wonderful, and the staff were always kind and helpful. The chalet was a good size and quite comfortable, and the terrace overlooking the piste was a wonderful surprise! The bakery service was fantastic and we wish we had used it every day!

The master bed was a bit small - would have preferred 2 singles pushed together. No prep space in the kitchen.

The location is the best thing - you can ski straight back to the chalet, the village is lovely and not too big.
