Several facilities not working (one lift, on site ski pass loading station, shower lotion dispenser in bath room), food quality (dinner) variable - good last day, not so good the two other days. Room service a bit sloppy.

Proximity to slopes (village lift), possibility to take a shower after 1/2 day of skiing in our ‘old room’ (de-facto late check-out) without extra payment. Good breakfast.

Note: you have to walk far from public bus point (point of information) to the hotel; but there is a free shuttle that drops you behind the hotel. It was difficult to get this information from the staff or anyone. Once you know, it’s all good

The property is tired. Only one lift worked (8 floors so very slow). It is right at the end of the village 1.8 Kms from other end and the Navette was not always working. Lugging skis etc to the slopes was a pain, not really ski in ski out. Old ski lifts so some bad queues.

Staff Excellent restaurants in the village

That I had to pay an extra charge to use the pool and had to wear a their specific swimsuit at an extra cost too. There didn't seem a valid reason for this given most hotels around the world allow you to wear you own swimsuit and don't charge you extra to do so.

Beds very uncomfortable- rock hard. Housekeeping happily provided an additional duvet to use as a topper which helped slightly. Also, swimming pool was very disappointing. Indoor swim area small and locker room was chaos as the pool is municiple not exclusive to the hotel. Didn't spoil our holiday though.

Food excellent with lots of variety. Convenience of ski-hire, boot lockers & closeness to Village chairlift meant more time could be spent skiing. Staff were consistently helpful, particularly Noemi. She arranged private ski tuition for us with ESF when I'd been struggling to get a response. Restaurant staff also wonderful.

location and surrounding area had a sense of abandonment!! Clearly the planners/builders had an idea for great development but the units/shops in the complex were empty, some eternal doors had broken glass, some businesses looked very tired and outdated

Meals were good - as a buffet it did mean that you could decide quantities if you were very hungry!! Choice was ok and you could usually find something to eat - if you didn't like what was on offer, no alternative menu. Chef replenished the dishes frequently, food rarely standing for a long time

The hotel is in major need of a renovation. One of the elevators was broken and we needed to use the service elevator, the carpets are well worn and the whole place could use a makeover.

The staff was awesome! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and offered a large selection with made to order omelets, all types of fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, pasteries and even honey that you scrape from the comb! Dinner was good, with the menu changing daily. The dining room was nice and well serviced. Our room was large and had enough room to sleep 5 and had a balcony overlooking the mountains. The bathroom seemed to have been remodeled. The hotel is near a ski lift and it provides storage for your equipment. There is also ski rental very nearby and a shuttle runs down to the town. Did I mention that the staff was great?

    - Plates and glasses are dirty, with cheese from the previous meals... - No hot water at 5pm, explanation from the reception: everybody is taking a shower at the same time! This not acceptable in a 4* hotel - Internet is very slow, explanation: we are in the mountains. It is even slower than in the deep indonesian countryside. - The carpet in the room was very dirty - Toilets in the room had scratches all over it - The bathroom was full of scratches - No toiletries were given, only a very cheap shower gel was in the bath - Slowest elevator ever - Breakfast food and dinner were very disappointing, not 4* at all - Bedsheets were not white but with a greyish, yellowish color To conclude: we would say that it is better and same quality at pierre et vacances. Paying for a 4* hotel, we expect a way better service and quality. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. (only if it becomes a 2* hotel)

Had a meal there one evening. Can truthfully say it was the worst food I have ever paid for. Ever! . For personal reasons we didn't complain but wish I had because the receptionist even told me she knew the food was rubbish when we checked out. Then they charged us for breakfast because we had clicked the wrong button on booking.com even though we had no possibility of benefitting from that particular cancellation offer as we had booked and checked in on the same day. Disgusted they felt they had to charge us when they knew how poor the meal had been.

From the broken glass in the front door, via missing lift buttons and ripped chairs in the bar, to the appallingly dangerous sockets falling out of the walls, it's crying out for a refurb.
