The hotel was very well booked, thus, breakfast was pretty busy even when some guests had breakfast outside; fancy faucet in the shower which makes it nearly impossible to turn on the water with soapy hands

Nice garden with decent pool; easy to reach by car without need to get into (the narrow and sometimes busy) centre of Obernai; however, in walking distance to the old part of Obernai; possibility to take breakfast outside on the terrace next to the pool; suite had a really good size

Standard room rather basic and not very spacious, not private as next to carpark and no net curtains They do have some better rooms which we have stayed in before.

Good breakfast, safe car parking, 10 mins walk from old town where there are many shops and restaurants.

Expensive breakfast (without non-pork charcuterie options), unpleasant Arsenal memorabilia in the (always-empty) bar, lack of midday eating options.

Walkable to Obernai, well positioned for the rest of the Route du Vin, a comfortable place for relaxing and even working remotely.

The hotel does not offer restaurant facilities for evening meal - this means you have to explore the town which is great but it would be good to have the option as the breakfast offering is excellent.

Family room was comfortable and a good size for a family of 4 and was well air conditioned. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant looks out onto the garden/pool. Parking was convenient and safe and room was provided to store bikes overnight. Location was close enough to the centre of town to walk.

We took the hotel's breakfast. We agree it's a bit costly. However the products are all of good quality and of renowned brands. I can say it was worth the cost. The scrambled egg was not fully cooked. The "egg machine" will not cook it properly until the very end of the breakfast's service. They might need to start the machine sooner or to cook the eggs a bit before putting it on the "egg machine" something was wrong there. Breakfast missed bacon to get full marks. The Wi-Fi Internet access had a good coverage (antennas ok) but sessions were difficult to establish (gateway problem?). It might be a problem for a business traveler, fortunately we were there for leisure.

The staff is very kind and smiling it scores great marks for the hotel. A very relaxed atmosphere around the swimming pool. Bath towels for swimming poll are provided it is very nice. The air conditioning is great it works well and not blowing too strong. We will definitely return to the hotel. Parking is convenient, we felt free to take the car a visit outside and find a slot again. The hotel is at a walking distance of Obernai, the path is however not so pretty and on a sunny day not too many shadows. I may suggest the visitors to take the car to get a little closer to the entrance of the city.

    - Falty air conditioning, so badly placed (over the front door) that its condensation flooded the whole room and there was no way to get the water to drip into a bucket. We thus had to evacuate our first room. - Poorly designed bathrooms, with bathtubs that are dangerous to get into or out of, and some inept fancy shower plumbing in the second room we had, that got stuck and which could not get unstuck with soapy hands. Obviously, the management never attended Hotel Plumbing 101. - Terrible breakfast, with tasteless coffee and insipid food.

It was the only hotel in the area with an open air swimming-pool.

Some more plug sockets (had to unplug TV to plug in laptop). Bathroom floor was cold. No restaurant. Bit more information about what to do for food would be nice.

Lovely welcome from receptionist. Easy walk (or jog) into town along riverside path. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, parking outside was secure. Nice breakfast in breakfast room. Swimming pool - but not used in December!

The Internet connection was the only thing that let it down! However, the staff professionalism and attitude raised it back up.

All staff were extremely professional polite and helpful. On arrival given an introduction to the hotel and layout explained together with a map with guidance on the route to town. Beautiful town! Liked it so much, went back two weeks later.

The location was not what we expected at all from the foto's and discription on the website. We had a non refundable booking for two nights but as we felt misled we wanted to cancel. The personel however was totally inflexible and not client friendly. They could have said for example that we should try the room for one night and that if we still did not like it then we could get a refund for the second night. But instead they did not try to find a solution at all and started a discussion. We had no real choice but to stay. For this location next to and industrial site out of town the price of the room and breakfast are too high in our opinion.

Familie room was big, comfortable and clean. Nice to have a pool.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk to centre along a level paved footpath by river. We enjoyed the walk and were glad of the quiet area of the hotel. However if you find walking difficult you should bear this in mind.

I liked everything about this hotel. Its stylish decor, very clean, including swimming pool and surrounding terrace. The many types of tables, chairs and sunbeds around pool and garden to enjoy sun or shade. Garden was very private and got sun all day but mature trees and sunshades offered shade if you wanted it. Our room was spacious and comfortable with mini bar, kettle and the best air con ever, so quiet but really kept room cool. The beautiful lighting in the evening was warm and inviting and the terrace is lovely. Staff were great. Large free car park. Great free wi fi. I believe they have thought of everything.

The only downside of this hotel is its location. It's a 15 minutes walk from the old town and going by car is not an option because of parking and also because there are some road works ongoing so you have to make a lot of detours. So one day we walked to the town and had dinner at a Michelin recommended restaurant and the other day we did not feel like walking so we just had a McDonald's:-) near the hotel

The room is basic but ok. And the air conditioning is a great benefit in this warm weather. Also the swimming pool is very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and made us feel welcome. Especially we liked the sweet girls that worked so hard in the evening serving drinks and arranging the pool and everything...with a smile
