Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyNothing except our room was so far & the WiFi seems insufficient to reach us & failed constantly ( Good for digital detox 😂)
Exquisite place, lovely retreat away from all the hustles. Friendly staff (both hotel & restaurant).

United KingdomA wonderful location and a very good hotel. We all enjoyed crossing to the island by boat which works very smoothly. Staff are great and the Island is fun to explore with delightful gardens. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

United KingdomThe restaurant which is the only place to eat was a bit variable and there was no real lunch menu. Breakfast was as expected with cold meals and cheese, lovely yoghurt and fruit. However the first day they were making good coffee but the next it was quite inferior from a machine. The first day there was brioche never seen again and only one day saw fresh orange juice. Our first dinner was very disappointing but the next was good. So take food or go out and back on the boat and buy food!
The Island of Tatihou is a magical place and the hotel set amongst beautiful botanical gardens. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. At night it is super calm and quiet a real get away from it all.

IrelandReally, very little - except for one thing, which is that personally felt that the restaurant was a weak link in the chain. Breakfast was perfectly fine, but dinner disappointed. Put a serious chef in there and the place would be perfect…
A collection of beautiful old stone buildings, very tastefully renovated and decorated, on a little gem of an island. And while it is a small island, it is nonetheless packed with history and natural beauty. A smart, informative visitor centre reveals much about the island’s history and significance. But if that isn’t your thing, then just wandering about taking in the views (including a couple of lovely small beaches with gin-clear water) might float your boat? It did mine!

FranceExtraordinary location , like a hameau, tucked into the midst of a botanical garden. Very comfortable room, excellent restaurant just a few steps out our door, very quiet and after 6 pm the whole island is private for just hotel guests. Superb breakfast buffet , museum entrance and boat voyage included in hotel charge.

LuxembourgThere could have been a bit entertainment on site (like sports possibility or swings), including for rainy weather (massage possibility…) and more options on the daily restaurant menu - specific for vegetarians;).
Unique location! The gardens are stunning and there is surprisingly a lot to discover on that little island. The site has a fascinating historic value that the little museum pays tribute to. It’s also an sustainable hotel.

United KingdomThere were some small patches of mould on the corridor walls. The seagulls are up at dawn and let you know it!
A special, small island that you reach by a fun amphibious boat (price included in hotel). The island has a beautiful walled garden and restaurant serving delicious seafood and beef. The rooms are light and airy with simple pleasant decor. The staff are lovely.

United StatesThere really should be fresh salad options on the menu. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was annoying. The shower floor is very slick so a shower mat may be needed. I love hair conditioner so that could be added
Fantastic gardens, clean, functional old buildings. The staff was super, specially the young man in the reception. Beautifully renovated bathroom. Absolutely loved the birds that call at all hours.
