Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumThe reception staff was 50/50. One young lady was nice and informative. The other one couldn't speak english, only french. The hotel, the rooms and the swimming pool area look old. The sauna is working/not working according to its own schedule. Its heating capability is low or limited. Hammam is working only on dedicated hours. Jacuzzi is only for 5-6 people. Showers are activated either by a weirdly functioning sensors, which periodically stop to work at all. Or by a button, which runs water for 2 seconds. No heated room for ski equipment drying.
The restaurant meals, especially the soups. Restaurant waitress Fanny was very professional. Swimming pool is a nice bonus. Movies for kids inside the hotel.

FranceWe rented a flat / studio. We had to buy soap, sponges, saupalin, extra toilet paper, some salt and paper , kitchen towel etc. It was quite a pain to have to spend one evening without those necessities. The hotel should provide that given the price and expectations for a 4 star level. Even for the residences. The furniture is also not great and needs to be refreshed at least partially , especially the living room (chairs, sofa very unconfortable). This looks more like an old age facility / hospital furniture than a flat in a 4 star hotel. Small details could easily improve the place: better lighting, a big TV ( rather than a tiny 20inch screen at ceiling level), a good Wifi connection. But kitchen , bathroom and beds were very good. For the kids there is a game/play area, but not even the table tennis are free. I mean, come on!! Room service was ok but not great either: we ordered pizzas the first day. That was nice. Then we had pastas and kids menu. Much more average. And not cheap neither. But the staff is nice. Very helpfull and friendly.
Pool, sauna, jacuzzi, hamam : great facilities after a good day of ski hotel is very clean and well organised. Staff is nice. Very helpfull and friendly.

BelgiumThe photos on the site were misleading. The studio was very small for 4 adults. The partition between the bedroom and main space was vibrating and noisy. Few restaurants in the vicinity were open and when they were, they closed by 21:00. The poles for pool tables need renewing.
Super friendly staff! The pool and wellness area are great" spacious, clean, variety of options. Breakfast buffet was substantial but it is rather expensive mostly if one does not eat much for breakfast. Should be included in the apartment rate. Good parking. Game room and pool tables available. Not too far by car from activities for all.

Singaporelarge hotel, so when it is peak period, wifi slows to a crawl and sometimes does not work because there are too many devices connected. no option for a paid but faster internet. in this day and age, it is much harder to accept, especially for 4 star establishments.

Luxembourg1. Swimming pool: a horror! There are no other words! Finding it was an obstacle course : good luck finding your way through the storage area of banqueting tables, parking spots of cleaning materials and missing signage.... So you arrive, you see it and you decide to leave it alone. 2. As there were 4 of us paying guests, I dared to ask reception if it was possible to have 2 extra towels for the Pool, since there were only 2. However a male member of staff at reception just said: well no! I asked: "So the other two are going to walk through the hotel in their swimming costumes ?" reply: "Oh yes". When I asked for extra towels, he replied: "Oh well, you'll dry them”. Rude and arrogant ! Needless to sat that I was speechless! 3. Breakfast: here again, I wonder how an establishment manages to do so much wrong: a truly disgusting buffet, dirty, full of stains, it ruins your appetite before eating. There was no greeting at the entrance, the staff seemed frankly overwhelmed by what was going on, and a young woman with a frustrated look showed us the table, full of stains on the tablecloth. I made the remark and asked if we could eat at a clean table… she turned the tablecloth over and said: there! Horrible and disgusting. I worked in hotels, now I travel the world on business and spend lots of money in hotels… for business but also on a private basis… this was by far the most disgusting experience I have had in the last 20 years! Congrats!
Where to start? The arrival at the hotel went rather smoothly, and the receptionist was very friendly. The room was good, bearing in mind that we only needed a room for one night, and the bed was really comfortable. But then things started to go wrong ...

LuxembourgThe hotel is smelly, the room alleys are freshly painted... the floor is old. No pool towel, no minibar in room, no fridge... No room service. Staff is useless and helpless, don't bother ask them for information about activities etc... Inside rooms is old!! It was a 4 stars 30 years ago may be, but barely deserve 3 stars now. Very disappointing experience. I will not come back and rather sleep in Gerardmer where you find better hotels. Also, prices shown in rooms are much less expensive than what we paid with Booking, very weird...
The only "decent" hotel around La Bresse ski slopes...

United Arab Emiratesall was good.
The staff was beyond amazing and the hotel is at a very nice location, close to many different stores. I got a little lost while trying to find the hotel but they were very accommodating and sent someone to get me and because I arrived so late, the resturant was about to be closed but they were kind enough to let my family and I have dinner. the food was amazing too. I really have nothing but good things to say about them. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my stay.
