Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandLots of groups of just men in the cafes etc.around the property. We had to leave the accomadation in the middle of the night for our early flight from Marseille & we had to stand on the street until our taxi collected us. (i would not feel safe if i was on my own) Rats roaming up & down the street close to the rubbish bins 🙄
Close to teain station. Grocery store close by.

United KingdomThe studio is in a busy part of town, so be prepared for a bit of noise throughout the night.
Location was ideal for train station and the studio was well equipped. The spa was an excellent way to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby landmarks!

United KingdomCouldn’t figure out how to get the TV to work and eventually just gave up. I was on the top floor and it was a steep climb to get up all the stairs. Fine for me but some less able customers might struggle.
Good location right next to the station which is where I needed to be for an early departure. Decent sized room and relatively easy check in process. I was only in the room for a total of about 3 hours overall, so barely got settled before I left again.

MontenegroTo be dead honest there was Nothing..Everything worked great and was as advertised. The area might seem a little dodgy with a lot of graffiti but my wife and I walked around 11-12 at night and had no issues and people around were friendly.
I accidentally booked this stay but decided to keep it and make a trip of it. After reading a few of the reviews I was a little sceptic but I must admit this place was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Yes, you need to climb a few steps to get to the room but I found this rather easy and had no issues with 2x large suitcases. The lofts are located right across St Charles train station, making checking in and travelling about really simple. The bedding was very clean and comfy and even included extra blankets, pillows and towels. You have a bakery downstairs, shops around the corner and everything else at your disposal or very nearby, The old port is a 15-minute walk from the units. The unit itself is EXACTLY as shown in pictures, super clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. You are also allowed to make use of the gym in the sister hotel next door and can additionally use its spa for a couple extra $$. Things to keep in mind are that you are expected to clean the apartment at check-out or you can pay 20-35 euros for the service if you don't feel like cleaning which is more than fair. Also, there is a small city tax which is not included in the price. But overall we had a comfy and enjoyable stay at the loft.

ItalyI remained surprised about the obligatory deposit. The info about the late check-in wasn't clear enough (I got the negative reply by email about arriving after 24:00, which made me rushing from the airport to actually discover that the reception remains open 24h a day).
great position, nice staff and the possibility of the luggage storage was very helpful!

United KingdomKitchen and general area of studio was not cleaned. around the cooker very dirty. Do not think a deep clean is done between guests which is not ideal. Studio bed/sofa, ok as a bed but then very little space around it. As a sofa it was not comfortable at all. Coffee machine provided but not even one pod for use. Travelling through for one night guests ate unlikely to go looking for a supermarket to buy coffee pods! The gym is tiny!
Staff were so friendly and helpful. We asked for a late check out. Paid a small amt extra. Studio was spacious. Bathroom was good. Reception did give us complementary water. They also took our bags when we turned up too early to check in. The staff were the best thing about this place.

Australiathe area felt a bit risky. The room was not what we expected from the ads. It was super tiny. bed was a sofa bed that filled the entire 'apartment'. barely room for bags. view from window was into a grotty back area of neighboring buildings. Climb 3 or 4 very narrow flights of stairs. can hear everything going on in rooms next door.
close to the station. Sunny.

GermanyNo lift (carrying the suitcase was tough in the narrow staircase). The sofa bed was impossible for us to open, had to ask at reception multiple times for someone to come and open it, but there was only one staff member at the reception who had customers to take care off, so we waited over half an hour for someone to come open the bed. Not fun after a long day. The bathroom was not particularly clean, we found hairs from previous guests, the grouting in the shower has spots of molding. But staff made sure to remind us to empty out the bin ourselves when we leave. Thanks. The noise-proofing is non-existent, you can hear absolutely everything in the corridor through the door. Thank god we brought earplugs. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. There's "free tea and coffee" at reception but none in the rooms, a single one would help most guests since I assume most people stay one night at this hotel for train station convenience. The spa is not included, only the gym, which based on our room cleanliness, we didn't bother visiting. The TV doesn't face the bed, it faces the kitchen, which has no seating, kinda pointless. We were told at reception to use the phone to call reception in any case, but after looking all over the room, we did not find a phone, another 10 minutes wasted trying to find it. And finally, the sofa bed pillows were completely worn-through, and the bed was very noisy. Altogether a very poor quality sleep, for over a hundred euros.
Quick check-in and check-out, easy to find, located right next to the train station.

FranceFront desk staff are very nice and always helpful. The location is perfect if you are coming/going by train, right across the street. The #91 shuttle bus to the airport is at the train station as well. The area feels a little sketchy at night but we’ve stayed there several times and I've never run into any problems. Accommodation is nice, bed is comfortable, nice to have a kitchen if you want to prepare breakfast or lunch. There are several little cafes and small restaurants within walking distance. Grocery store and bakery are 5 minutes. 20 min to the port.
