Only concern was the street noise (not cars as it's a pedestrian area), but rowdy people through the nights - unless it was raining)... we kept all windows closed which helped with noise but still didn't cut all of it out.

-staff super friendly. we felt welcome :) - recommend location to go shopping and visit Strasbourg. its very central - there is free water and bottles to refill for the room and coffee and cake for the afternoon -comfortable beds - breakfast was good

We purchased a three-night stay with breakfast included from booking.com at a rate of 18 euros breakfast fee per person per day. We inquired about canceling the breakfast option to reduce the total cost of accommodation when we were checking in. The receptionist agreed, and although we opted out of breakfast during our stay, we only received a discount of 5 euros per person per day instead of the full breakfast fee deduction. Despite being misled by the reception, no further action was taken to address the issue.

Beds were on the soft side but very comfortable once laying down.

Host lady was very welcoming and forthcoming, providing us with a free upgrade and allowing us to try speaking a bit of french. Location was close to a parking facility and in the middle of the center.

- the room looked nothing like i expected from the pictures on Booking. They told me they have newly renovated rooms and older rooms and i was in the old building. That has nothing to do with paying the same as other tourists in the new side. We were a bigger group and we had the only small old room with old furniture.

Room was really small. Walls very thin, I could hear everything outside.

The temperature is controlled at 19C in winter which was too hot for us. We kept the windows open for comfort but it was Saturday night and we were woken up multiple times until 3am by loud people screaming a lot outside. Made for a difficult sleep. I would recommend this place on a weeknight though with fingers crossed there aren’t people out until 3am.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Cold water both still and sparkling in the lobby. Lovely old charm too and softest towels in the bathroom!! Fridge in room too.

Because the hotel is in the center of the old town, our corner room overlooking two major pedestrian streets was often noisy at night and first thing in the morning: garbage trucks, delivery vans, street sweepers, late night revelers, etc. This is obviously not something in the control of the hotel, but if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend making sure you either have ear plugs or that you ask for a quieter room when booking.

Excellent location; very centrally placed for all of the various markets and a short walk to everything. The hotel room was spacious, and the daily hot mulled wine in reception was a nice touch! The room was warm and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful old wooden staircase in part of the building.
