An inexpensive, convenient, old fashioned, rural, southern french hotel.

Parking is a problem if you have baggage. First room we were offered had not been cleaned after the previous occupant. Second room was good. Hotel is old and rather shabby. This gives it a certain charm.

Associated restaurant - pizzeria is well run and inexpensive. Location suited us as a staging point from Annecy before a meeting next morning in Cannes.

Single's bedside lamp did not work. The balcony was shared with two other rooms which limited its usefullness.

It was a convenient stop-over on the way from Barcelonette to Nice airport. We ate the 'cheaper' restaurant which was good value. A pleasant small town. We had a triple room which because of the design meant that there was a degree of privacy for the third (single).

Excellent welcome and friendly staff. Room was clean and fresh and comfortable. The restaurant was really excellent and one of the main reasons to return already 3 times. Well-located in the centre of the village and to be recommended very strongly

Perfect stop along the famous N85 Route Napoléon.
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple

There is not a reception but the people working in the restaurant also deal with check-in and check-out. It's not clear where to go if you arrive. There is no airconditioning and a 'grand lit' is not so 'grand' as it appears.

Perfect stop along the famous N85 Route Napoléon. Simple and a bit outdated but which has its charm. Friendly staff.

Very poor welcome from the owners of the hotel, just handed us our key and tool to find our own way to room - not even a hello and welcome. Breakfast was very hit and miss assume it was one of the lady owners serving - very slow and even forgot we were there - we had to ask her for our bread and coffee etc.
