Excellent value for the price of the room. Convenient location and parking. The restaurant was extraordinary - one of the best meals of our four weeks in France. Quite unexpected at a budget hotel!

The staff were nice but after our day sight seeing we asked for a glass of wine, and even though they had a restaurant they didn’t appear to want to serve us. We sat outside and when we asked for a second glass it was not forthcoming. After I asked a second time we waited so long that we decided to give up and just go back to our room.

It was as advertised. Located across from the bus station. Basic twin room with air con. Functional.

We didn't realise that there was a festival on in the town so all the restaurants were opening later that usual or full. Had we known this we would have reserved a table in the hotel.

Hotel was lovely and we got checked in nice and early. Lady on reception was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection.

Easy access to car park , great place for stop over .10 minutes walk into the centre. Hotel is very comfortable and the food must be very good as the restaurant was fully booked, couldn't get in.

The internet is unreliable. The problem I encountered was a stuck shower door that I had to squeeze through -and staff away.

Communication - when reception couldn't be staffed they sent code and information in good time, and it all worked well. Staff were responsive when told of an issue. The room and bed were comfortable and the room was well organised. Nice bathroom too. Quiet night. The price was very reasonable.

When we stayed the temp outside was -4 degrees and the hotel felt cold ( radiator in room was not on). However on request the hotel provided an electric heater which warmed the room.

Very central clean and welcoming hotel staff are excellent. Room was small but nice. Shower in bathroom was good.

This hotel was good, unfortunately the town was a little disappointing.

Good location and easy to find with street parking available adjacent to the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with a well appointed bathroom. Reception was friendly and efficient with use of key and after-hours security explained very well.

Friendly staff, great breakfast. Autun is a beautiful town to walk around, lots of hidden alleyways, nice to get away from the crowds.

The bar had very limited opening hours. No tea/coffee facilities. The staff were not very welcoming, although I spoke no French and they spoke no English.

This was by far the worst place we stayed in our entire 3 weeks in France - because of the fact that the managers were not only unresponsive to our inquiries, but absolutely rude in the way that they finally did respond. (I speak French fluently so I know exactly what was said.) I know that most French hotels do not have AC but I specifically only reserved hotels with AC because I have diabetes. When we entered our room, the thermostat read 28°C = 82.4°F !!! So we set the thermostat to its lowest setting and went to dinner. When we came back 2 hours later, the room was still 82.4°! Obviously the AC had not come on. I called the front desk. The manager came up and looked at the thermostat. She told us that the AC was not working. I asked if she at least had a fan we could use. She said she would look for one. I waited 2 hours for her to get back to me. She never called nor came back to the room! We opened the windows but there was no air flow, and with the bright street lights shining in, it was nearly impossible to get to sleep. From 11:30 pm to midnight, I tried to contact any managers, with no response. Then I started emailing. Eventually, I got a very rude email back from the manager telling me that I should have been understanding that a technical problem could arise, that all I had to do was open the windows because the temperature outside was 10°C / 50 °F. (Our thermostat read 24°C / 75.2 °F!) He continued with: "Votre incompréhension devant ce problème est vraiment étonnant, et devant votre hystérie nous aurons beaux nous excuser, vous offrir une prestation cela a du mal à vous calmer je pense...." This translates to "Your incomprehension in the face of this problem is truly astonishing, and in the face of your hysteria it's all very well for us to apologize, offer you a service, but I don't think that will calm you down.

It was clean. The room was bigger than many of the others that we had stayed in.
