Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shower stall doors didn't completely close all the way so some water leaked out, but it was otherwise fine. Wish free coffee or tea could be provided.
Very clean, was better than how it appeared in pictures, spacious, super convenient to train station, comfortable bedding. No a/c but a fan was provided and was able to open window due to quiet location so slept well.

As the temperatures were high as 38, the room which I did not notice during booking was without aircon but with a fan. Good thing the staff or maybe the owner changed my room, not in direct sunlight in the afternoon.
Perfect location, very close to the train station about a few steps away. Walkable up to 20 minutes on most attractions and close to the bars and restaurants, about 5 minutes walk. Clean new rooms. Restaurant in the property.

It’s all good
The rooms were clean and tidy. This is a family run hotel and they were polite and accommodating . Excellent value for money- the breakfast reflects this- having said that we did not go hungry with a mix of continental and English - cereal and toast .

Nothing in particular. It’s a simple but functional hotel.
We just needed a hotel for one night and this was a good pick. A simple hotel, but clean and had everything we needed. It was 36 degrees and sunny in Lourdes that day, but the hotel room was ok to stay in and sleep in (with an open window). It’s on a busy street, but traffic did not really bother us. It’s very close to the train station, but also the center is closeby. We also had good views from our top floor. No breakfast, but we found a great bakery open early just an 8 minute walk away.

Very clean, simple room with a view over the town to the beautiful mountains in the distance. While the room had not the newest decor, the family took fantastic care of it with daily cleaning. That care and their kind welcomes made it a very positive stay.

It would be good to provide a tea kettle and a couple of mugs in the bedroom for guests who would like to have hot drinks.
It was clean, especially the bathroom, which was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

No nearby grocery store or cafe, and longer walk to the Sanctuary, however the local bus is great to catch at the corner, which takes you to the entrance and it goes frequently.
Very close to the train station which is easy for commute, also the local bus has a stop there too but the room was quiet. Simple but clean room with enough space for 3. The bathroom is comfortable but could use more towel hangers. Very nice owners and 1 of the nights we had the dinner menu which was a good local fish in the restaurant, but didn't try the breakfast.

The staff was welcoming. The location is very near Gare de Lourdes train station so we didn’t have to worry about rushing our visit in the Lourdes Sanctuary and Grotto to catch our trip. The place was clean.

We stayed here during our visit to Lourdes. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, secured, and well decorated. Mr. Simonne, who checked us in, was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. It's a family-run hotel, and we really feel like home away from home. Mr. Michael, the owner, offered to keep our bags after check-out since we had an overnight trip to Bordeaux. Highly recommended and value for money.
