Very cold room and it took three requests before they finally gave us a portable heater. They told us that the central heating in the hotel had been turned off. Food in restaurant (only one open due to public holiday) was poor in choice. The tuna pasta had no tuna! When pointed out just shrugged shoulders. Unfortunately The Mercure still has a budget feel about it. Plastic cups and beakers. One 500cl bottle of water for two for a 5 day stay - really stingy!

Not much really. Leisure facilities looked good but was unable to use for personal reasons.

Stayed in a studio at the back. Not the nicest. Usually they give me a room on the floor for preferred guests. I get a free mini bar there too which is nice.

Functional, good breakfast, good location for work.

    All good

We had one of their little apartments , so not in the main hotel, nice and quiet, got a good nights sleep. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good for the price. The beer was lovely. Affligem. The location was perfect for us right next to the motorway.

Rude British people ignorant in French restaurant. Staff were verbally abused and poked by foul English woman because her burger wasn’t cremated. Impressed how staff stayed calm. Embarrassed to be English

Bathrooms dirty and Brasserie food over priced and food quality poor, what chef can't cook a burger???

Reception staff were great, very welcoming and helpful. Brasserie, food overpriced and we sent our burgers back 3 times, as they were not as ordered and cold, the waiting staff could not cope with the busy restaurant, but sadly it was the kitchen that was letting them down, we saw many items of food returned in the time we were in there

Only one expensive restaurant open so we had to go out for food, the evening desk staff was not helpful in giving us directions, "5 minutes down the road", but it was more complicated that that!

Great location, 15 mins from airport, room was nice, good price!

Lack of any character (decoration, design)

Selected repeatedly as a convenient stop-over place when travelling by car between Belgium and the South of France, well located near a highway exit. Mercure standards are respected, which is the main expectation.

The barman/waiter in the bistro could do with some training on how to be polite and helpful. The food in the bistro was mediocre. And the toilet-roll holder had jammed and didn't work - most inconvenient, as one might say.

Breakfast pretty good. Easy to find from the Autoroute after a long drive. Receptionist was very sweet and welcoming

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, with new bathrooms being installed. This is much needed as the hotel is a little tired. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent ambassadors for the Mercure group. However we found the restaurant staff unhelpful and unkind. The resultant was not busy but yet as English people travelling with a baby we were given an awful table behind a pillar near a derive station which meant the waiter constantly reached over our babies head to get cutlery and condiments. The food was expensive and the worst of our three weeks in Europe.

This hotel is clearly popular with the locals and French us invests traveller. The sports centre was busy with many local people clearly being club members. We enjoyed the pool with our little one.
