Overall an excellent one night stay. Veronique’s communication was very helpful. We hugely appreciated her meeting us, getting us parked in a convenient local garage and helping us with our baggage. The apartment is a 2 minute walk to Cours Mirabeau so very convenient. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen superbly appointed.

Firstly the location is perfect, quiet but close to everything in town. The apartment is spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable and had everything you might need. Véronique is a fantastic host, on hand for any questions you may have and gave us lots of useful information when we arrived.

We had oversized luggage and it was hard drag them up the 3rd floor. Otherwise, everything was great.

There were two primary negatives. The bed is very firm which for those who have a pillow top or softer bed can make it a little uncomfortable to sleep on. The second is the arrangement of the bathroom. The toilet is in an adjacent private area, the sink is within the bedroom and the shower is in another alcove within the bedroom...it just makes from an odd arrangement but it is workable...for couples.

The hostess Veronique was very attentive and engaging and ensured we were taken care of and then left to ourselves only being available if needed. The location, just south of Cours Mirabeau is excellent and we were able to walk everywhere throughout the city. While on the third floor the steps were quite low and I was able to bring up two heavy pieces of luggage relatively easily. The kitchen and eating area is well appointed and you could cook a feast there. A worthwhile and enjoyable stay.

The unit was well-equipped and very comfortable and spacious. It was a great location for walking around the city. The owner was so charming and helpful. She even made us a dinner reservation in the next town we were visiting when we left.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Our stay was perfect in every way. The apartment was so very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities. The bed was comfortable, the shower spacious, the kitchen well equipped, and the living room great for meeting up with our friends for wine and cheese. The host, Veronique, was lovely; she’s friendly, professional and very helpful, quick to attend to any need. She even made dinner reservations for us in the next town we were to visit! If returning to Aix, we would definitely stay again at Maison Dauphine.

There is a fair amount of street noise, but the bedroom is quieter.

Maison Dauphine offers the best of both an apartment and a hotel. It provides the extra space of a apartment including a small kitchen and a washing machine, plus daily maid service and excellent concierge services like booking taxis and making restaurant reservations.

Would have been nice if breakfast was included in the price like most places we stayed, but not a big deal at all.

Really nice and roomy apartment, very centrally located in Aix en Provence. The host was great in helping us move our car to a closer parking lot and assisted with walking us around a few blocks of the city close to the apartment so we could get our bearings. She also gave us a great recommendation for a lovely lunch spot in the outside courtyard of an art gallery nearby. The markets in the city the next morning were a lot of fun to walk through. Really enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night.

The apartment was so cozy and comfortable. Vèronique was so kind and welcoming. The location was perfect-just out of the main area enough to be quiet but just a very short walk to many of the main attractions. We plan to come and stay again

No elevator. We didn't mind but other visitors may find this to be problematic.

It was an excellent experience although we just stayed for one night. The location is excellent and very close to everything you would want to visit. The owner is amazing and made us feel like being at home. She has renovated the building with an excellent taste and it's a sheer pleasure to be hosted there! Attention to detail, the best materials and a refurbishment faithful to its origins. As a plus, very beautiful artwork everywhere as the ground floor is a gallery. Bravo!

The owner is a very nice lady and she even waited for us in front of the building to welcome us when we called her a few minutes before our arrival. The location is super good and decoration of the room is beautiful. COVID measures are well arranged and it was a brilliant stay for us!

The bedding needs to be updated and the bathroom was a part of the room so there is no privacy.

The location was great! Walking distance to everything.

Perfect base to explore Aix located just a couple of minutes from Cours Mirabeau. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. There’s construction opposite the building but once you close the windows, you don’t hear anything. Highly recommend the place.
