Disappointing for a budget hotel and I've stayed in a lot of them. Can't get the basics right.

Where to begin? On check-in, discovered that my company had used their credit card details against my name. Was taken to the reception of the hotel next door to sort it out, where that receptionist had a go at me even though I was clear it was just an error that I myself didn't make and that I'd just use my credit card instead. Continued to moan after I handed over my card (original receptionist was blameless, he was quite nice). Walls so thin, I heard the baby crying next door, people entering their rooms and conversations in the hallway and in the street below. The TV remote didn't work properly - only some of the buttons worked (impossible to change channel or volume). Only power socket in the room seemed to be under the light switches halfway up a wall, making recharging interesting. The reception was empty at 8.15 in the morning and had to wait 15 minutes until someone eventually turned up. We then asked for a taxi, only to discover after another 15 minutes they couldn't be bothered to phone for one.

Very nice reception area and I quite like a laminate floor in a room. WiFi was pretty good compared to some other hotels I've used in the City.

The room had a moldy smell to it and looked like the walls had been washed to wipe away mold. The flooring was in need of repair and the blinds on the window by the kitchenette were a shambles!

There was a little kitchenette. We only used the fridge to freeze water as there was a heat wave going on in Paris while we were there and it was awesome to be able to take frozen water with us each day. Spectacular Boulanger across the street that had pain au chocolate for 1.15 Euros! The area in general was a great little look in to Paris life for locals rather than all tourists as it was far enough away from the centre.

The room was quite small, smaller than it seems on the images online. Wasn't provided with a bath although it stated online that double rooms came with a bath. Hotel staff said double rooms didn't come with a bath. Apart from that, everything was fine :)

The staff were friendly & helpful, the cleanliness of the room and the hotel altogether was very good and the shower was very nice.

Not much. Safe would not re-open but staff came and opened it for me - very helpful.

Small and comfortable, reasonable decor and decent bathroom. Batignolles / Clichy is a lively area - not high end or really central but close enough to tourist sites to be manageable.

Everything. The pictures are completely misleading. We booked two rooms, and they were both terrible. They smelled, the doors were noisy, when we arrived there was no one at the reception desk, just a couple fighting at what you can call the “lobby”, the guy was pretty much hitting the woman and he drag her from her hair upstairs back to the room they were staying at. No light from the tiny window they have. The building is pretty old and it is very evident that no efforts to clean it, restore it, or making it more decent are made. The worst part is that apparently this “hotel” is annex to another one under the same administration, that is like cleaner and more decent; pretty bad they have such a contrast there. This should not be called a hotel, and if it is called like that it should be ONE star. This is crazy bad for a three star.

Nothing, just a decent manager that heard my complains when I left with my family after the first night. We had booked three.

There wasn't one day where both key cards were working. The staff was initially pretty rude, especially the brown haired young boy who worked nights. He told us he specifically didn't like americans after he asked where we were from (america) and then he argued with us when we told him the wifi wasn't working.

The staff behaviour and accessibility to the staff. No one is ever present at the hotel reception. We were not informed about the staff being present in the adjacent Hotel Mirific. At Hotel Mirific, the day manager was slightly helpful not much. But the night manager was least helpful, not courteous at all. They need to learn to respect customers. Bad hospitality from the hotel.

The area is not so nice, but I have to say I found Paris in general worse on this aspect: migrants laying down basically at every street corner. It didn't feel very secure specially in the evening. The reception is separated from the hotel, on another entrance and was for most of the day unmanned. The receptionist was not very corteous and didn't speak English, Italian or Spanish . I was lucky as I know a little bit of french.

The room was fairly big. It was not very noisy as well. It was also clean. 5 minutes walk from the tube station. Good boulangerie close to the hotel (the princess)

Definitely a budget hotel - rooms were not as nice as the pictures made out. The check in process was a bit odd and they refused to give us more than one key for the room (despite the fact that we had 2-3 people in each room). The area itself wasn't much to write home about, so don't plan to spend a lot of time in that neighborhood.

Location was pretty good - right next to a metro line, felt like a relatively safe block. Good rates on the room, able to get a triple with beds for each person. Water pressure was surprisingly good.

I knew that Paris is not the cheapest city, and price for the triple room in 17th district is pretty reasonable. Still, the room was quite small, yes, it was tidy and clean, but small:) Some renovation for furnitures and bathroom is already needed.

Overall, I can recommend the hotel for 1-2 nights stay this small hotel. Typical small yard was viewed from the window - it was great, because very quiet at night! Room was tidy, beds pretty comfortable. You can walk to city center for basic sightseeings by foot in 40-60 minutes. Plenty of shops and caffees on the street, reasonably priced because street seemed to be not very touristic. You can observe some local routine life here, and that is what I like the most in this place. Underground parking for 33 eur/day is located 3-5 mins from property. You can hardly leave your car exactly near hotel because the street is quite busy.

No view, our room could see only rooms from other buildings. We could hear people from next room whenever talking! Very simple, no decoration. Tv should be placed somewhere on the wall, rather than the working desk i think.

1 min walk to metro station Brochant. Area has shops, bakeries, restaurants. Room looked little bit old than we expected but well maintained and cleaned in daily basis. Spacious with a small closet and Tv. Bed really comfortable. Bathroom was ok, shower with hot water and a hair dryer. Really worth it for its money, in Paris!

There is anything you need in the neighborhood: restaurant, parking, parc, supermarket, grocery shop, etc. The north side of the av. de Clichy is multiethnic while the south side is poshier. I didn't take the breakfast at the hotel. You can take some typical "parisien" breakfast in one of the "brasseries" or "boulangeries" of the neighborhood.

Long story short: staff are not good if not something else Details story: We made the reservation online through booking, and went there on our arrival we were asked to pay in full. The front desk girl took the credit card, and seems was not able to handle well, and told me the operation was refused, while I received on my mobile my bank confirmation that the operation was successfully registered !! I called the bank who confirmed that it was accepted, and they gave me the confirmation code, the girl and her 2 colleagues and manager, refuse to check the confirmation code nor calling their bank to confirm the operation !!!! insisting that they should use the credit card again or that I pay in cash ! Trying not to ruin my vacation, I paid them in cash, meanwhile, I explained to them that I am an ex-banker, and that no way I would let this operation be transferred to them or I will file a complaint at bank and police station. They backed off, and the operation was not claimed from them. Dealing with them, as most of the staff were Arabs (Iraqi girl, Syrian guy, and probably Algerian guy, and didn't know the rest) I thought it will be easier for me, as I am an Arab (Egyptian), and I think I know how to handle them, but was not sure if they're really not trained or something else. So my advice to anyone going there, to be careful, and better to pay in cash - One more thing, the elevator is always not working, and is not easy carrying the bags on their tiny stairs.

    - Location is in mostly Arabs and African area, away from the center, for me was nice experience in Paris.
