We had dinner at your restaurant. As we were the last ones, at 11pm the waiter turned off all the lights and did not even ask if we wanted some coffees or tea and left the restaurant. Very surprising. We asked for a late check out but we were not informed there was an extra fee.

We loved finding a hotel with such a great location and the spa facilities. The reception team was very nice and welcoming

that swimming pool entry was closed at 8pm, you had to walk around the cafe after 8pm. The dessert buffet at the restaurant, is very expensive (EUR 27.00) for the spread available. Plus, no English menu available, however, the waiter was very helpful.

swimming pool was fantastic for kids and staff are super nice and very friendly.

Well, the building is a somewhat ugly concrete building.... Also, we did not really appreciate why we were given rooms on the 2nd floor when the hotel was rather empty. When there are not many people, it would be great practice to boast the best you have....we would have appreciated being on the 4th or 5th floor, to have a true lake view. Our view was impeded by the concrete structure of the hotel. Placing us on the 2nd floor was probably due to having booked via booking.com...

Perfectly situated close to the lake, with (some) rooms having lake view. Great breakfast.

The lighting in the room is impossible to operate and the bathroom was very very small.

Beautiful views, a comfortable room and nice dining area. While the hotel is a fair distance from the main road, it is a lovely drive through alpine villages near the top of the mountain where the views are stunning.

Very tired hotel not really worthy of 4 star rating. Appreciate work is ongoing but pretty pricey considering overall merits.

It would have been handy to have some vending machines in the hotel for drinks and snacks (for late night munchies!). Surprising absence of creamers/milk with coffee and tea making facilities provided.

The view from the suite overlooking the marina, lake and mountains was fantastic. Swimming and sauna facilities - all included - were fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend!

Great location by the lake. A bicycle, longish walk or short car ride to town Centre though not a problem for me as the scenery was the reason for my visit. Definitely no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is dated and I found the spa rather down-at-heel. There was no adults only area and there were a lot of children so it was not relaxing There were also dogs off the lead in the sunbathing area and this is not hygienic.

The location was excellent with views of the lake. Breakfast was good.

The staff seemed a little disorganised, e.g. Spa towels were not available and slippers were not handed out, yet we were reprimanded for wearing our own. Then handed a pair of slippers two minutes before check out, against a charge. It would benefit travelling hotel guests if spa opened earlier.

Excellent short term retreat to rewind. Great surroundings and the therapeutic facilities at the spa were a plus.

The halls look rather dingy, but the rooms have been adequately updated. The towels could be thicker. Real glasses as opposed to plastic cups would be greatly appreciated.

The staff were very courteous and professional. The location was gorgeous. We had a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. We very much enjoyed the amenities (pools, hot tub) and the spacious, private garden. We'd return again.

It wasn't a problem for my wife and I at all but some people may find the hotel a bit dated. Having said that the staff make the most of what they have to work with so this shouldn't put anyone off staying there.

We stayed using the hotel as a base for a trip to see the tour de France. The view from our room was great, overlooking the marina and lake. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull and whilst not necessary for us several spoke reasonable English for those times when you just can't remember how to say something in French. The hotel was clean and the bed in our lake view room was very comfortable. All in all we have a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return if we were going to the Savoie again.

Maybe I just don't get the whole spa thing, but it was a hassle to swim in the pool (bracelets, a ton of rules on needing to wear hotel robes etc. )Hotel is in need of a facelift - I'm guessing it was big in the 60s?
