The hotel should tell customer much earlier that they are under renovation not the last minute when you cannot cancel the booking unless you got charged

I was NOT given a receipt at checkout, and instead was promised an email receipt. The problem is that so far I have not yet received the email receipt either, but they are very prompt in sending out surveys.

Very unclear re pricing via the Booking.com website. Please make it clear what the price will be and then charge that amount!

Really enjoyed the welcome drinks. Normally these things are very dull...but not this one! Music, open bar, lovely food and friendly staff

Due to the remoteness, a larger store, fresh fruit and such would be great.

Quiet beautiful setting, there was even English speaking TV occasionally

They do not cater for anyone who requires food arriving late. ie 10.0pm. not even so much as a sandwich at the bar or for room service, Mercure staff were not interested . We went next door to Ibis hotel, restaurant was open and staff were fantastic. we ate there for the 3nites of our stay it was excellent. Sad indictment of Mercure management, too lazy to create a bar snack menu which would cost them nothing ( bar is open until 12.00 ) I am back in the area in November and will be staying at the Ibis .

Very far from everything, difficult to get anywhere without the car. The restaurant is expensive and closes at 2PM at lunch, but if you do not have car, you do not have choice... The taxi service works in very french way... we were waiting for a taxi for 20 minutes and finally ordered Uber. Breakfast is typically french one - for your 18 euro you hardly get more than croissant and coffee... No vegetables, no hot food (eggs only). When I told this to the person responsible for the restaurant, the answer was also typically french: our guests do not need it.

    nice small hotel, friendly personnel.

Hotel is not renovated for many many years. Rooms and carpets could use refreshment. Not worth the price they charge.
