Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe location is not the best, but you know this going in. Next to the hotel there was a big parking location full of caravans, so not the best view you could ask for. If you are searching for a nice spot to walk around, this is not it. We had 2 rooms with a communicating door and in one of the bathrooms the toilet was not cleaned properly - urine stains behind the toilet seat. The beds were not comfortable - me and my wife both had back pain in the morning. The kids slept good, so there was at least that. The breakfast could have been a little more varied - a bit of ham, some jam, fruit and yogurt. The offered only one type of cheese - a little bit disappointing for a location in France. The rooms could be a little more modern - the bathrooms are out of date and they had mold on the ceiling - we were on the top floor.
Friendly staff Easy to reach from the highway Quiet Free parking

Hotel has own parking. Breakfast was very good. Animals are alowed (i saw other guests with pets.) It has a lively atmosphere in the lobby/bar and a coworking space - all well used.

GermanyThe facilities are not very modern.
The pool is really good and was a very refreshing way to spend a hot summer evening with three kids. We had dinner and the kid’s menu (fish and chips) and my starter were excellent. My steak was a bit hard but all in all food was good. Breakfast was very good considering the hotel’s class.

United States of AmericaLocation is not great--it's about a 25 minute walk from the main sights, restaurants, etc in Arles, and not a pretty walk. If you have a car (which we got halfway through our stay), there is free parking. It was a fine hotel--just not worth what we had to pay to stay in July near Arles. But it was the best deal that was remaining at the time we booked.
Breakfast was fantastic--quite a surprise and worth paying extra for it. Room was plenty big, especially compared to rooms in Paris. Everything was clean.

United KingdomThe surrounding area is not pretty! It's a bit of a shock as you come off the motorway and into the estate but once inside the compound, it's OK.
Nice hotel at a reasonable price, clean and comfortable, and air conditioned. Lovely pool, especially after a long day on the road.

Nice breakfast out door by the pool side. The staff were friendly and helpful. They noted our request. There was a large free carpark. We were very happy with our stay, as we read peoples’ reviews one mentioned about a shanty town but in fact it was a 20 year old gypsy settlement. The walked to the town was 15 minutes.

United States of AmericaThe pool was closed and the air conditioning did not work and the hotel was a bit far to the center of the town.
Breakfast was one of our favorite on the trip. Room was clean. Pool was closed for renovations. This was a big disappointment, because it was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel.
