The rooms are starting to need some updating and the hotel isn't in the best area. But the area is getting investment with newcbuildings so will get better with time. Sadly, a lot of rubbish floating around in town which is off putting on a visit.

Room was comfortable and the balcony was nice. Short walk into town.

It was pretty expensive... Over $300AUD per night for a basic motel room is above the average price for our other European/French stays.

The location was great. We appreciated the fridge, coffee machine and great storage for our toiletries and suitcases, etc Aircon worked very well which was a godsend in the hot weather.

Not far from city centre, 10 minutes walk, reception staff were relaxed and kind, our room had a balcony, and the best of all they are pet friendly.

Breakfast was average, personnel in the restaurant didn't speak English. Surrounding area is good however there is no feeling of safety in the evening, had to travel by river bank.

The dog!!

Quiet room, apart from the last night when there was a dog barking next door. We didn't know French hotels allowed dogs! Great choic for breakfast and great, helpful staff

The location. We had imagined it was very close to the train station, but it was a 7-10 minute walk (my husband has limited mobility). The tram lines outside the hotel were out of action (and will be until some time in August) necessitating a good 10 minute walk to a bus stop as the hotel is not close to the beautiful centre of Bordeaux.

Breakfast was excellent - a very good range of choices. The room had air conditioning, which was very necessary in the extreme heatwave

Price, I known its Bordeaux but its a heavy price for what is 'out or town' they say is central but its not

There was no plug in for a curling iron in the bathroom. No where to put our luggage except the floor. The last time we stayed in a room here it had a spot for your luggage to be opened up. We did not have the large breakfast offered, Would be nice if they offered an option of a coffee and croissant for those who just want a light breakfast.

Proximity to the train station and city train was great. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

I like that they upgraded us, so we had a lovely balcony in room 408. The breakfast, was alright and nice seating area inside and outside.

Good selection of food at breakfast and an excellent location being minutes from the tea station so was to walk there. Also, the tram stop was right outside the hotel so it was easy to get to the city centre and generally around the city.

We had a toilet that didn’t work and it took almost two days to get someone there to fix it. Granted it was a weekend, but we should have been offered a new room (according to the person at the desk, they were sold out). We were not even offered a voucher for a future visit or a reduction in what we paid.

Location is a key feature of the hotel as the tram system in Bordeaux is fabulous and cheap and we used it extensively as tram stop is minutes away . Hotel and staff met our needs of safety, security, clean and friendly helpful staff

The shower leaked a bit and we couldn't find any large bath towels. Again not a big issue.

For us the location was great but it was on the fringes of a slightly run down area close to a main rail station- we didn't mind that as it was interesting as we live in central London but for some it might be an issue. It was however within walking distance of a very lovely district full of interesting squares and lots of restaurants. The bed was super comfy and massive. The room was elegant and well furnished. The lobby was a nice place to hang out with a warm atmosphere.
