    Can't think of a thing!

The location cannot be beat and the beds were so comfortable for a couple of travel weary voyagers. It was easy to park in the underground lot that is well lit, very clean and has an electronic system to allow you to easily find a spot.

Our room faced Republican St., which can be very noisy at night, especially weekends with groups of people walking down the street, partying.

Great location from the standpoint of being on a main street and close to the main square. Very nice and helpful staff. Charming room, nicely updated.

Very poorly maintained property - lots of little things not taken care of and a smell so bad in our initial room we had to ask for another. The smell was in the hallways as well - a kind of overall mildew smell. The staff was accommodating but biggest complaint was the cleaning staff having load conversations in the hallways as they prepared to clean with no consideration for the guests

The bed was very comfortable and clean and the location was great

The condition of the hotel hallways needs paint, the carpeting very old and dark hallways. No soaps / shower gel for showering, very small soaps. Not enough towels, nor shower mat. The hotel needs to be updated.

Excellent location, and staff extremely helpful. The employees at the reception were bilingual in English. Also the cleaning women were very helpful as well. The restaurant and breakfast very good a good variety of good food. Great, great location

There were two plastic cups and water bottle in the fridge. There was a kettle for making coffee, which is nice, but only very thin paper cups, which I could not hold when it was full of hot coffee. In a four star hotel there should be real glasses and cups, it looked very cheap.

The location is excellent, in the very centre, near the palace and other sights. Easy to find. The staff was very friendly, even though they had problems with keys and had to come and open us the door every time. Breakfast is good.

The air conditioner was not working properly and it could be a problem if the temperature was high. There was hair on the bathroom first time I entered the room.

AC could have been better but with the fan it was good enough.

Really close to the Palace of the Popes (don't bother it is an empty building) and other nearby churches. The bridge is also just a few minutes walk if you want to pay to walk on a partial bridge. The hotel is good. Elevators inside so very few stairs. The breakfast was good as well. The room came with a complimentary bottle of water. They realize that their AC is not great, so a fan is provided to help move the air around. This was helpful.

I could not get the overhead shower to work, so I had to make do with a handheld one. A better shower enclosure would have kept water from spraying out onto the floor!

The first impression was magical (coming at dusk from the back side of the hotel with Rue du Vice Legat and Rue de la Peyrolerie between the hotel and the Palais des Papes). Location can't be better, our room was big and well equipped. The breakfast was perfect, with that moment squeezed orange juice , with choice of bread, French cheeses, excellent ham, croissants, fruit, coffee selection,... For us parking wasn't problem, we parked on the street (within a 10 minute walk from the hotel).

The hotel is modern but the rooms very small. My daughter's room had one of those (only in Europe) showers without a tub or walls which sprayed directly onto the bathroom floor. This is no fault of the hotel but our GPS attempted to take us to the front door which was a disaster; trying to make it through a maze of narrow streets and alleys around the main square. In fact their parking is excellent, at the Palais de Pape underground lot. Set your GPS for there and you'll be fine!

The location is perfect for all of the important Avignon sites; right beside the Palais and an easy walk to all galleries and shops. Breakfasts were reasonably priced and had excellent variety of choices.

A bit noisy during mornings, but if you face the back than is much quiet than facing the front of the Hotel.

if you are visiting Avignon for the first time, as a tourist, that this Hotel is the place to be. We spent 3 nights here and we found that it is close to all central activities, restaurants, and the Palais des Papes which we saw from our room. The breakfast was very good for a French type of breakfast: fine cheeses, pastries, very tasty bread. Even if it is scheduled up to 11 AM I recommend you go there latest 9:30-10 else you might miss part of the very tasty pastries. The rooms were perfect for our stay and I was very delighted to see that not only facing the front of the hotel you have a view, but as well if you face the back side. The parking might seem far away if you use the GPS but the secret exit staircases were not more than 40-50 meters away from Hotel entrance, while the Parking entrance is exactly how the GPS shows it. If you want exact details on where to exist from the Parking so you can be closer to the hotel than call the reception in advance. The reception service was very nice, especially the kind gentlemen during night shifts, very helpful. The reception lady on Sunday helped us to find an open Pharmacy which for a Sunday is difficult in Avignon. Overall I am very happy with the decision I took to book this hotel. It's the perfect experience.
