Room overlooked school, very noisy when windows open . Double glazing adequate but, sometimes you want fresh air! Blocking road to access parking a bit embarrassing however, alternative would include the cost of remotes to be loaned to guests. Special requests acted upon but not advised by email. Private parking not bookable. Pity about the Building work opposite but, hey, C'est la vie!

Great breakfast. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

just a very personal thing ,i find the pillows too soft, don’t like foam!

nice staff on reception, like the changes to bar etc. Second time we have stayed with our two dogs, will definitely return if we are traveling in France, Libourne is so pretty in mid December.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel rooms were a good size and plenty of room for luggage. The facilities in the room were very good and clean, there was a separate toilet room not often seen and from the balcony a very picturesque view over the river. The hotel is only a 5 minutes walk to the town square and the many cafes and restaurants and 10-15 min to railway station.

Having booked a room "with a balcony" in writing on the receipt from Booking.com they tried to give me a room without balcony when I arrived and I had to complain. This was rather annoying and a cheap trick by the hotel. The manager finally agreed to give me what I had booked but only after insistence by me and with rather bad grace I think - she was quite rude.

Coffee making facility in the room very good.

Clean, neat and smelled great as soon as you walked into the lobby. The hotel was a short walk away from plenty of restaurants and shops. Most of the stores were closed for the day and it was about 7:30 pm. It was extremely easy to park at the hotel, unlike most places in Europe.

Hard to find with the GPS, located on a corner.

It has AC, very private parking, very easy to get to Saint Emilion. The town of Libourne is just outside the door.

The staff were a little 'off' when we arrived (Bank Holiday) and it felt like a lower grade hotel (in parts) that was trying to be something a little special.

Location is quite nice, overlooking the river. Breakfast was also nice and i liked the safe parking.

the advertised prices at reception of E225.00 per night per room were ludicrous. The hotel, while pleasant, is on a par with a Spanish one or two star, which would have had better furnishings and fittings.

I liked that I got a good deal through booking.com at approximately what I would have been prepared to pay. An extravagant bath was enjoyed.

Nothing. The car park is small (though locked), we parked outside 1 minute walk no problem. Only a bar area with light snacks, but Libourne is a very pleasant and well preserved small French town, so most people would enjoy a short walk in the evening to a local restaurant, or drive to St Emilion.

Excellent, calm location opposite the river in Libourne. Very pleasant reception area and welcome from the staff, who had good knowledge of local restaurants at a few minutes walk away. Room and corridors very clean and modern furnishings, bed excellent, very quiet (no heating noise !). Breakfast just right in very pleasant breakfast room with cosy furnishings.

Parking is way too expensive considering it is outdoors; breakfast is also very expensive and with a limited selection; lack of options to dine and hotel restaurant very small and with slow service; no fridge in the room; odd layout with toilet separate from sink and shower. Overall too expensive for what it offers.

Quiet hotel right next to the river; safe parking; bed really comfortable

It was expensive for what you got. No fridge in room, which was disappointing as we have a baby and wanted to keep her food cool. We asked for extra pillows as there was only 1 each, and we never got them. We have paid a lot less than this in the past and had better facilities.

Friendly staff, very clean. Great location.

We thought the mattress was too firm. The wifi didn't work in our room. The hotel is a bit far to walk from the train station and we couldn't find a taxi!
