Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff not very communicative or helpful. No twin rooms available and sofa bed not made up. Asked for this at 5pm checkin… was eventually given linen at 10pm to make up myself!
Good location, close to Moulin Rouge with easy walk to Montmartre area and Metro station. Great buffet selection for breakfast.

Not so many tv channels for kids, most of the channels where football / sport And the curtains can be better, a lot of light came through quickly, and the shower was gong from very hot to really cold the whole time, but overal it was a very nice stay !
The location was great just around the corner of the Moulin Rouge, close by the metro station (multiple) Very good restaurant (Tiffinagh) with n 5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly ! Breakfast was good you can chose whatever you want !

The noise isolation is poor. We can hear very clearly all the conversations our neighbors. They are super funny.
“Ambassadors” at the front desk are super kind and professional. They voluntarily speak English with foreign costumers. We can feel a very warm welcome when checking in. However, there is one French man employee with glasses who work during the late night is very rude. We felt a bit offensive with his altitude. The location is perfect. It is in Montmartre district but it is not so “dangerous”. There is Moulin Rouge besides. Metro is close. There is a pharmacy nearby open 24/24 and 7/7 in case of emergency which is very rare and precious in France. Compared to other hotels, the price is already fair enough. The cleaning service is professional.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable one to sleep on
Very nice staff and very flexible. We were allowed to take our own food to the room. They also gave us recommendation on nearby vegetarian options. Rooms are of decent size as well

I had to cut short my stay by one night. I knew the terms of the reservation, but it would have been nice if they had not charged me for the night I didn't use. I gave them two weeks notice about the change.
Location worked out well. Close to a Metro stop and to the Montmartre district. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

I thought the breakfast could have been better. There was very little hot food apart from eggs. There was no water in the bedrooms so had to pay >€8 for a bottle from a vending machine in the hotel lobby.
Great location. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The shower didn't hold a stable temperature but the flow was good.
The staff were very good and helpful and they answered the phone promptly. Room size and view from the 8th floor was very good.

The rooms were very hot the first night and nothing we did with the air con would cool them down (this was the same in 4 rooms) but it was better on the 2nd night.
Ideally located for Montmartre and just round the corner from a Metro station. Breakfast was excellent and our rooms on the 9th floor had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. Free cold water filling station on 1st floor by the bar/restaurant. Very helpful reception staff.

The new years eve party that went on until 5am in the hotel, without any notice, was not ideal. Particularly because our room was located next to the event.

We were on level 1 which meant that we needed to go up 5-6 steps with our suitcases - which I wouldn't have expected in a Mecure hotel. This was only a small issue.
Easy 2-3 nin walk to buses, metro and cafes. Breakfast buffet was excellent and convenient. Comfortable bed and we could open window for fresh air.
