We were on the 9th floor, had a normal room, nevertheless, nice view on the marina and the sea. Small but functional balkony. Breakfast was very good, lots of options, good food. Free parking. Right at the marina, close to boulevard, restaurants, bars, ...

Perfect location by the water. Bed(s) and bathrooms are good and clean. Rooms otherwise might need a bit updating, but nothing too bad. Perfectly fine stay. Parking is very convenient.

Rooms and carpet need updating. Both the room furniture and carpets need to be up graded for a four star hotel

The location. The friendliness of the staff Excellent breakfast. Limited but good food in the restaurant at a reasonable price for a three course meal

Not enough parking spots available and on the street you need to pay (per hour). I found the mattress little hard.

Breakfast great, staff friendly, great view, close to everything.

Whole hotel urgently needs re- furnishing. Staff do their best to keep clean ( our room was clean) but v.difficult in old outdated building, well past its use by date.

Room furnishings would benefit from an upgrade.

Large, clean room. Good separate toilet and en-suite. Nice balcony with a lovely view over the port and beyond to Port Camargue. Excellent room cleaning staff, room made up well. Regular changes of bedding. Large, comfortable bed. Helpful, pleasant Reception and Restaurant staff. In short, it was a delightful place to stay. Recommended!

Noisy at night, cold at night, take a warm jumper or coat! Very dated resort, built in 1977-78, not my sort of architecture!

Sea views, lovely broadwalk. We traveled from Toulouse but if you can get a flight to Montpellier it's really close. Massive nature reserve!

A bit dated, outdated design from the 70s.

Spacious room, clean, good general condition, good for a few days. Excellent breakfast buffet, good dinner, helpful, friendly staff.

A return visit to La Grande Motte and our second stay at The Mercure. Upgraded to a suite on arrival and enjoyed the extra space. Incredible marina views from the bedroom. The hotel is in a fine waterfront location - handy for everything. Good parking within the hotel grounds. Short walk from the door along the marina which is full of interesting restaurants and wine bars - very picturesque in the evening. Good buffet breakfast with fresh breads, pastries and good choice of hot food.

Bad smell in both corridor and rooms. Big stains on the carpets in the corridors. With tiles or wood on the floor instead of carpets this would be a great hotel.

Close to the beach and restaurants. Nice view from the rooms. Good breakfast.

Could do with a bit of a 'polish' otherwise it is fine.

Possibly the best location of any of the hotels in the resort with all of the rooms overlooking the harbour. However, that said, the hotel looks a little tired and would benefit from a re-decoration and overall facelift even though the rooms were very clean and tidy.

This building is so old and badly maintained that the Accor group should be ashamed about this being part of Mercure hotels or being part of Accor in total. Horrible. You hear the neighbours talk in the room above, we were in a room where we can hear people going to the toilet with all horrible details that come with it!

Polite and nice people, good service in the restaurant during dinner. They make the best out of this very poor old and badly maintained building.

We had no bad experience at all.

The staff were excellent. Special commendation goes to Jerome who had been servicing my needs superbly way ahead of my check in date and whilst me, my family and extended family stayed there. Every need of ours was attended to in a highly satisfactory manner. The location was perfect. Most conveniences were a short walk away. The church and civil registry was a couple of minutes walk away. This eased our logistics to attend and participate in the wedding events of our daughter.
