Breakfast is not worth it, in my opinion is very expensive for what you get. Not even one person of the staff will speak english to you, even if they speak it (same problem in all France). We did the check in italian with a very nice guy. This place is made for french people, if you don’t speak the language, you may get in trouble.

The room was wide and confortable. The place quite and beautiful.

Air conditioning not working. The bathroom was very narrow, difficult for two people to stay in. The toilet did not have any ventilation.

I did not understand that there is a short period of reception being opened and you are supposed to book a ‘late arrival’ if after 18hrs.

Great location, closer to Amboise than we expected. We were able to walk into the town quite easily (although would maybe be too far if you had children, or elderly with you). The apartment was spacious & well equipped. Would be great location for groups of friends/family to rent together.

There was no internet at all.

Nice area, good to stay for several days and explore Loire sights from there.

Warn travelers they must have a car- we arrived via train and no taxi available. A passing couple took us 5 miles to Balligio in their car. No restaurant nearby but you can buy takeaway food to prepare in your unit. No wifi in room but in lobby which closes at 8 pm.

A little bit old-fashioned, the carpet has some patches, the freezer’s door was broken -> all out staff frozen in the morning (they knows this issue already, but not informed us)

The cottage was on the ground floor, so we can go outside quickly with the dog. Calm area, few min far from the centre. The bed was really comfortable!

Pool was too small when busy. Depends on what time or date you are there I think. There was a metal lip in the doorway which was just the wrong distance for getting the wheelchair into the room easily, so getting in was quite tricky. I had to improvise to fill in the gap.

Comfortable room, all necessary facilities. Quiet site. Pool was refreshing, especially when it was quiet. Nice not being cleaned daily - not having to say no to cleaners or asking them to come back later.

Water damage in the bathroom. Extremely poorly furnished no chairs or table to sit outside. Asked for it and this had to be paid for on top plus there weren’t any available for our full stay No soap nothing at all no sponges this too had to be purchased at the reception Strange considering the current Covid situation The pool is tiny for such a big property Overcrowded couldn’t even use it

Room has been prepared a bit late so that all floor was still wet when we arrived Breakfast is not good at all and not served as per our expectation => to be improved, definitely Cars are not parked correctly - this may be a bit more managed although this is up to Customers behaviour at the end

Super holiday suite for the family for a stop over near Amboise. Clean and tidy. Pool was great to cool off the kids. Located outside Amboise, 5 minute drive from the centre. Would be a good base to explore the area.

The unit had no air-conditioning or fan. The cupboards need repairs.

The size of the room was impressive. The kitchen had adequate utensils and services. Well suited for self catering. Has a good location to visit the attractions in the area.

No Wifi in the rooms and hardly any connection at reception - which is only open 8m to 8pm. For a hotel that alleges to be a conference centre, this is simply unacceptable. These days where everything is digitalised (including by this hotel!) internet access is as basic a commodity as running water. The fridge was so noisy I couldn't sleep. Also, the furniture is of rubbish quality. The cupboards were falling apart. Breakfast was awful. All in all, an experience best forgotten about.

Everything was great. One small note for guests here is it's better if you have your own car. As it is a little far from the Amboise city center on foot. It's not anything against the hotel, just be well informed before your reservations.

Great stay. This was a pleasant surprise as we didn't expect to get such good accommodation .The studio was spacious, clean, well appointed, had all the necessary amenities and more. Staff were nice and accommodating. We only spent a night here and it was too short. Would have loved to stay longer. Would definitely visit again.

We've stayed at this property before, quite a few years ago. It seems nothing has been done to it since. It looks very tired, the bathrooms especially need re-doing. The decor, curtains, bedspreads, could also do with a refresh. The whole site feels a little odd now that there is no restaurant. It's a huge place with no atmosphere, and not a lot of shade on a sunny day.

The location and access to a swimming pool. The breakfast in a basket, although an odd concept, was very good and there was plenty of it.

Was very cold and heating downstairs (duplex apartment) didn’t work. No working (either didn’t fit or wasn’t one) in kitchen sink or bath which made washing up and bathing the kids impossible. No kettle provided. Was clean but dated with peeling walls, brown grout and lots of scuffed paintwork.

Location was convenient. Check-in was easy.
