While it might be difficult to recruit experienced staff, some of the staff would need a bit more training in terms of "customer management", a couple of them were even pretty rude. More senior staff members were very nice and professional, one even intervened to tell a younger one off, explaining that this was not the way to talk to customers.

Many spa staff do not speak English, so it is very difficult to explain or understand what the therapist is explaining to you. The Thalasso pool at the SPA on the ground floor was overcrowded. Value for money for the SPA treatments is not so good, except for the facial.

The jacuzzi water could have been wormer and massage of jacuzzi on the sides didn't work. The floor around the swimming pool is extremely slippery, either needs mats or other abrasive material. My son fell, luckily nothing happened but if adult slips concecvances can be life long injury.

There is only one option for breakfast at 25 eur person so quite expensive if you just want coffee and toast. There is only one restaurant for lunch and dinner and again expensive. Overall the food budget was far more expensive than any other Spa we have stayed at. The only other disappointment was that there is a lovely bar but no healthy smoothies or detox options

The hotel is very clean, modern, quiet. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff, very fast room service. We were very happy to spend a full week at this hotel and enjoyed the many Spa treatments available.

La Cigale Hotel and Spa is a uniquely designed hotel. It is a cruise ship on land. It is very new and modern. The staff is wonderful and careful to make certain all is taken care of perfectly. The Ar'zon area is wonderful especially if you are into sailing or water sports. The hotel restaurants are also very good.

the air-conditioning was not strong enough to cope with the very hot weather at the time of our stay. It was very warm in our room. We were disappointed that our room price did not give us access to the other pool and jacuzzi area downstairs.

Really poor value for money. Dinner in the restaurant was not enjoyable, little ambiance and the food just wasn't up to standard. We had duck, which we requested to be well cooked, but it was over done and tough. The accompaniments were tasteless. Breakfast was equally poor, a small buffet selection and tasteless fruit salad that I couldn't finish. The breakfast room had no access to outside so was stuffy and crowded. The staff however were very helpful.

Extremely poor value. End of the earth type location with not best setting in bay. Reservations department has significant room for improvement. Mediocre spa services despite it being the main reason for existence of hotel. Ever so subtle hint of French snootiness. More a place for middle aged French couples. Foreigners beware!! Avoid paying for breakfast (local bakery and café only 2 minutes away with better value)
