Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe rooms come with ear plugs for a reason. We're lucky we went to this area out of season as you hear absolutely everything.
Staff were great, location was exactly where we needed it to be. Shocked how comfy the beds were

Location is perfect, near metro Blanche station. We were staying there during Easter weekend, didn't notice any noise from the street. Reception is open 24/7. Helpful staff, comfortable beds, AC unit was working properly. No complaints. Will definitely stay there when we visit Paris again.

United KingdomThis hotel is very noisy at night as it's in an area famed for its nightlife. We were in an attic room so this was less of a problem. Bathroom shower head was beginning to come apart and leaked from the sides. WiFi didn't work whilst we were there for myself and my wife. We mentioned this to reception who said it must be our devices as no one else had mentioned this and the receptionists wifi was working fine. Felt the decor looked a bit dated and tired.
This hotel is in the thick of things. A couple of 100 meters up the road is the moulin rouge and the hotel's road is lined with bars and restaurants. There is a metro station just around the corner giving easy access to the delights of Paris. Beds were comfortable and the room clean. There was sufficient space to hang our clothes. Decent air con. Nice for a short city break.

CyprusSoundproofing was not very good, especially between the rooms
My room was really nice, bed was comfortable, bathtub and bathroom in general very clean. There was a lovely assortment of tea, coffee and hot chocolate by the kettle. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff was very friendly. Convenient location, very close to the Metro, Moulin Rouge and nice coffee shops, restaurants and bakeries.

GeorgiaA three-star hotel must have disposable slippers. They should bring bottled water every morning and must have disposable toothbrushes. Breakfast is until 10 am, and if you don't arrive on time or your partner falls asleep, and you want to bring food to your room, you won't be allowed, even if it's a banana or coffee.
Location, cleanliness, staff, safety, breakfast.

IrelandThe shower stall lacked a door, and the bathroom floor flooded as it was on the same level. The surroundings were noisy at night, despite good windows. Earplugs were provided in the room, which helped, but light sleepers may find it challenging.
The hotel is very well located, just a few meters from the metro station and the Moulin Rouge. Comfortable bed, very good shower and good free Wi-Fi. Great breakfast with a good variety of fruits, yogurts, coffee, juice and breads. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good hygiene conditions.

United KingdomThe room was quite small and the staff were sometimes a little curt. Particularly regards to the use of umbrellas and amenities. For example the gentleman on the nightshift insisted on me taking the umbrella without my even asking whereas the ladies would insist on £10 deposit and were quite difficult in terms of passing it over. Same with the ironing board
Location was amazing - perfect for the Moulin Rouge and only a short walk from the best landmarks

United KingdomDoor was locked upon late arrival and it looked like the place was closed so we were scared that nobody was in and we were locked out. A staff member did come after ringing the bell a few times though. A sign reassuring/explaining what to do for people who check in late at night would be great.
Right next to a metro station. Great location with lots going on around it eg Montmarte. Clean room. Towels were always replaced.

SloveniaGreat location just across Moulin Rouge, short walking distance to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. It is fairly close to the busy street which some rooms face, luckily my was in the quiet part. However the hotel provides earplugs which I presume would be useful anywhere in Paris. Both room and bathroom aren't big, but then again not that small for Paris. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good for me, some people might need more variety.
