I didn’t like how there was no staff on the property… ever! I locked myself out of my room, my roommates had just left for dinner, and I would’ve been locked out for 3+ hours if I didn’t find someone in the “bunker” who had the override code. I had questions about my trip and no one was there to help. It was very frustrating! I also tried to reach out to them regarding my luggage transfer, specifically where to put my bag when I left the next morning. I didn’t hear from them until the next morning.

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and there was never a line to use the bathroom. I left an outfit (top, bra, and bottoms) in my room and they replied that they didn’t see anything. I’m glad they responded… it’s a shame though that someone decided to take my outfit instead of returning it to the lodge staff.

Not much, I just had a sick guy in my room and I was hoping to change rooms, but I couldn't find any staff.

Overall everything was good, bed, shower, etc.

Only one bathroom with toilet for the whole floor. Noisy beds. Small rooms. Location bit far.

This is probably my 5th time staying at this property. It’s an easy walk from the bus station, easy self check in, and while basic accommodations it’s everything you need for the start or end of your hiking adventure. Unfortunately this last time I accidentally left my sneakers on the shoe shelf by the front door (no shoes are allowed to be worn in the lodge) when I left for my multi day hike in my hiking boots. I realized when I returned, just 6 days later, that I never moved them to the storage room with my luggage. They were no where to be found and after messaging the host I learned that the cleaning person had “disposed” of them and there was no way for me to get them back. I was definitely surprised and upset. They said a group had rented the entire house and they used that moment to clear away all clutter (left items) from the house. I think it seems unreasonable not to have a policy that puts them aside for enough time for hikers to come back and claim anything left behind by accident. I hope they change this policy for the future to help guest get their items back. I was definitely at fault for not moving them out to the storage room, but sometimes things get left behind by accident. Seems harsh to dispose of guests’ shoes so quickly.

The room for two with tine bathroom for $200 during the pick season it is ok, but the cocroach in the bed and in the kitchen is beyond... no, I didn't like it.

I like only location , and option to leave my bags in the provided storage.

Very small rooms (2 bunk beds). Back deck was not very inviting. Couch cushions and big couch on the ground were a little dirty.

It had everything I needed, comfortable bed, hot shower, decent. Breakfast, a place to cook and to hang out in the back.

Basically a hostel. No fresh food at breakfast. Coffee machine gave up and no staff on hand to help.

Easy to find and access. Good information. I was in a private room and it was comfortable with a good shower and bed. Nice view too. You could go to the kitchen and help yourself to tea and coffee and in the morning there was also cereals, yoghurt and pastries. I enjoyed my night here.

A human presence is always preferred rather than wholly self-check-in with codes.

The room was very clean and comfortable. As described, the lodge is 15 minutes walk away from Chamonix Sud bus station. There is a bus on the route however.

Having only two toilets/showers is hard to find them free to use.

A reasonable walk from the main area. Only 2 toilets in the whole place. In the whole quite expensive for what it was

Bathroom was a little small but it didn't bother us at all. Rooms got a little hot at the end of the day.

Amazing breakfast service. Rooms has everything you could need. Just a 15 minute walk into town. Insane views. Bed was comfortable.
