Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe pillow are not so comfortable
Very good location. Despite being inside the city, you feel disconnected like in the country side. Just a step away from the tramway stop.

IrelandThis is an eco campsite and there was no air con in our cabin. I'm sure this was mentioned on the booking, but I mustn't have spotted it. I was kicking myself. With temperatures over 30 degrees during our stay, we couldn't sleep. So, no matter how lovely the mobile home, we wouldn't return to the campsite in hot weather. It was a huge disadvantage.
We booked a 3 bed premium and it was honestly the nicest mobile home we had ever stayed in. Really well designed. The campsite was well equipped with a lovely, if small pool. Campsite residents also have free access to the large indoor pool complex across the road. We used this and it was great.

IrelandOverall we loved it. Only small downside it was very hot the first couple of nights and hard to keep the cabin cool. We brought our own fans and were glad to have them.
Loved the location, scenic but accessible to Nantes by tram just outside the campsite. Cabin was generous and clean. The indoor pool complex across the road is excellent for kids.

United KingdomCamp shop was non existent. The restaurant was very small with a limited menu and very busy. The onsite pool was small but we didn’t get to venture to the offsite pool.
Good size accommodation that was well equipped. We had a two bedroom cottage which had two bathrooms and was a massive bonus. Small living space but we were only there for one night so didn’t matter.

IrelandThis campsite is a hidden gem. It's in a superb location for exploring Nantes (10 min on tram to city centre). It's spotlessly clean. It feels like you are in the forest. It has a range of accommodation, a lovely play area. Access to the fabulous indoor pool across the road is a huge bonus too. Really nice atmosphere. Nice small selection of food in restaurant too.

IrelandStaff at bar could do with some barista training. Cappincino and hot chocolates were shocking and could not drink.
This is in a handy location close to tram for Nantes. We stayed in one of the houses which was clean and in good condition. In the bar, burgers were nice. Swimming on site is OK, but there is an alternative across the road in the University of Nantes, which is free for residents.

IrelandDouble bed was too small for two adults to share and pillows were totally inadequate. I think for the price you pay for the accommodation that towels should be included, not €9 per set. The restaurant could do with varying their menu and the food was just ok. Also I'm totally at a loss as to why people have to wear speedo's which are very uncomfortable.
Nantes Camping was only 15mins away from city centre by Tram which is just outside the main gate and only €14 for a 24hr ticket for 4 people was great value. Staff were friendly and helpful and chalet was extremely clean and well laid out.

JerseyWould not let us have darts at 10pm as closing, yet clearing up was still happening at 10:15…. Wasn’t aware that normal swimming trunks. not allowed, therefore had to buy skin tight trunks whilst there. (Reasonable price from across the road though)
Calm environment. Access to tram line. Coffee and croissants for breakfast at reasonable prices. Lots of facilities for my 16 year olds - pool, mini golf, large chess/draughts, table tennis etc…

SwedenIt's a bit unfortunate that you have to buy toilet paper once you've used up what you're given. It's not necessarily a bad feature, but it would have been better if they had explained this upfront. There is not a lot of selection of groceries at the campsite. Also, it's not the campsite's fault, but something future female guests might want to consider is that some of the male guests catcalled us quite often when we walked around the campsite, either alone or together. We notified the campsite immediately whenever it happened, and they were very very helpful!
The camping site was bigger and greener than we thought, so it was a positive surprise. The cabin we booked was also very nice - the kitchen was equipped with enough utensils, and the rooms were good too - tiny but had everything we needed. The balcony was big enough to hang out, and it was good to use the balcony when it was too hot inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was well managed. The bar/restaurant was cozy and nice, too.

NorwayIt’s appears that camping can’t provide towels, since they are out of stock. Also, there were no filters in the coffee machine.

United KingdomOn arrival got informed that I’ve put bedding on myself, to sweep up before checkout and take the bins out otherwise I’ll be charged and there’s not a single word about it when you book accommodation which is complete misinformation. I only stayed there for 1 night and there would be no way I would book accommodation for that short time to be cleaning, I went there to chill. Having such demand, I would expect great cleanliness in property, when I was sweeping up there were some hairs on the floor, I know for a fact they weren’t mine because mine are vibrant blue so can tell the difference straight away. Another big surprise was when we arrived at swimming pool with my son, he wasn’t allowed in because he was wearing swimming shorts, apparently only allowed swimming trunks or Speedo’s, again not a word on booking about it, they state it on the brochure what they give to you on arrival which is no good as you are already there. Also, no air conditioner, we were there when it was 34 degrees, air conditioning is must in such a hot weather, thankfully we had travel fans with us.
Lovely location, very green, cute swimming pool area.

United KingdomThe food menu at the bar was very limited, but good quality so we didn't mind.
The campsite was conveniently located only 10-15 minutes away from the city centre. It was very child friendly with a small play park, crazy golf and the kids loved the giant chess and bean bag games. The bar and outdoor seating area was in the centre so we could sit and have a drink, and watch the kids playing. The caravan was great value for money, with 2 bathrooms and a modern well equipped kitchen. It had a heater in each room, but no air conditioning so not suitable for hot weather unfortunately. Overall, if you are looking for a few days away with the kids in the spring/early summer months this place is perfect.

United KingdomWe went in autumn and it was out of season. The play area was closed as was the restaurant for most of the time. I think if I had stayed in the summer I would've been disappointed with the pool area which was very petite Expensive to find and buy food within walking distance. However great hypermarkets available with a car
Easy reach of Nantes. You don't need to rent a car to enjoy it although it's useful for supermarket trip Friendly and helpful staff We had use of the swimming pool across the road which was really good. It had two flumes a wave pool and was a super temperature Overall it was a good choice for our family as we just wanted room to sleep 5 and we were using it as a base rather than a place to spend a long time in.

FranceAs we were just out of season the breakfast cabin was closed but there was a patisserie just up the road. Also our cabin was under an Oak tree so the acorns crashing down on the roof could make you jump and keep you awake if a light sleeper.
Situated in a green space with lovely river walk. Clean and close to amenities. The tram stop is almost right outside of the front gate and go every 4 mins and cheap. Ideal transport as the normal every day traffic is a nightmare.
