Noting really. We were lucky on the parking as we got the last spot but I got the feeling that there is always somewhere to park and it is a reasonable price.

The room was very comfortable and warm when we arrived, location was right in the centre of the town 2 mins from a fabulous restaurant (les annees 30).

Great location literally in the middle of the old town in beautiful Chinon, under the fortress. Parking directly outside (payable between 9-12 and 14-19h, hood rates). Really well laid out apartment with oven, hob, microwave and toaster. Free laundry in the cellar of the building.

The parking could be tricky, there are not that many free parking spots available all the time. The living area could have been more comfortable and if you want to cook the kitchen could be better supplied.

Despite being unbelievably hot, the shutters were open on our arrival, which helped to make the place meltingly hot, and despite our best efforts and the small fan provided, the heat was unbearable. Parking is really limited. We actually secured a space outside, but it isn't clear where you can park. However, we contacted the staff who replied really quickly and reassured us we were OK . So thanks for that.

Fantastic location, beautiful building,well thought out room layout) good kitchen equipment, but a bottle opener would be a useful addition. Quiet at night. Responsive staff. Great restaurant (Maison Rouge) a 5 min walk away.

The toilet lid let loose, but this was quickly fixed when we informed the owner. The parking in front of the building was full most of the time, but it was easy to park in the parking lot for the fortress.

The room was beautiful and made us truly feel like royalty. It was very well equipped and we didn't miss anything.

The sofa bed is not the most comfortable but it is a sofa bed! The main bedroom is though fantastic.

The instructions how to get in were very clear and the apartment was delightful. A mix of character and charm with modern facilities. The location is superb with the river, fortress and town centre only a few minutes walk away. They restrict traffic on the road so it is quite and peaceful. And you have a 15 Century church next door visited by Joan of Arc in 1429.

Shortage of cooking pans/bowls. Broken dining chair, place mats stained needed replacing, holes where hooks had been left not repaired so unsightly. Unsuffient hanging space. Needs some TLC.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment (Chemonceau) at the top of the Nature & Chateaux house. It was incredible! Such a treat to stay in such a beautifully maintained historic house in a town as beautiful as Chinon. The apartment was super clean and well laid out. Chinon is amazing with several great restaurants and the Fortress is so interesting - so much history! I enjoyed it more than the numerous chateaus I saw as the history was incredible. Chinon also makes a great base for exploring the Loire Valley and we loved our day on the e-bikes!

Parking was a little difficult at times. There were a few spots in front of the building. We found the oven a little frustrating to figure out. Some instructions would be helpful.

The location was very good. We were able to walk to the fortress. There was ample space for 4 people. There was laundry facilities but we did not use them for our short stay.

WiFi went in and out for us, but mostly had it. The Place in front of the house is very small, and we had trouble finding a spot. We ended up waiting for someone to leave to then get a real parking place. The road up to the Place was very narrow but we managed.

. a little small, even for two, and short on storage but fine for a short stay. Parking was free but limited- a little more information about this and where to go if it was full would be helpful. Also, it would help to know that the apartments are immediately behind you as you enter the little car park.
