Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

I have stayed here now over 10 times, great friendly staff, clean and large rooms for central Paris and location is great to get anywhere within Paris, much within walking distance, or quick jump on the metro station right outside the hotel

We had a few flies and at least one mosquito in our room when we checked in. We managed to kill the flies but we all ended up with a few bites from the mosquito unfortunately. I did contact reception to ask someone to come and get rid of them and they said they would send someone but no one ever came.
The staff were all really helpful and attentive apart from the one I spoke to regarding the flies/mosquito issue. The location was great and a few minutes walk to a great selection of bars, restaurants and Westfield. The metro was literally on the doorstep. The Louvre was also a short walk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a superior family room and it was a spacious room.

Although we liked the hotel, price per night seems high. Hotel puts in the room only 2 bottles of water during check-in and do not provide additional water everyday (we stayed for 5 nights). Coffee machine in the room was not working.
Location is good, close to Chatalet railway station and in short walkable distance to Louvre and gardens, and small shopping mall "Forum". Staff at reception, foyer and bar are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean. Good place to stay for families. During booking the hotel, I requested a room with a nice view and a very gentle and polite lady at reception, whose name is Han pleased our request and provided a room with good city panorama view. Overall we liked the hotel and hospitality.

Cheaper breakfast. We didn’t t eat breakfast at the hotel due to the price point even though it was free for kids accompanied with an adult.
Hotel is conveniently located which helped us moving around by bus or metro or RER. Staff was friendly and were able to check us in early which helped us settle in from our long flight.

So close to train station, not suitable to walk late outside
Perfect location, close to louvre, shopping malls, very good restaurants, metro. Perfect room, big enough, well decorated, modern. Beautiful cafe inside.

Location for families is great. Easy to transfer from CDG or Eurostar. Great base location for either walking or using the metro.

Breakfast is a bit chaotic. Too many people for too little space. Breakfast is ok (I missed more variety) but I think a larger room needs to be endowed at peak days. People literally ran into each other. I mean it’s still ok but I think this particular feature can be improved.
Good location and great facilities. Confy room and good size given Paris usual standards. The best, the friendly staff everywhere. Especially at the reception, both the receptionists and the guys in charge of the luggage and general aid. Really pleasant.

We had a family of 4 (two teenage boys) but had to book 2 rooms as the boys did not wish ti share a bed. A family room with a double and two singles would have been perfect. As a result it was a bit expensive but overall we had a fantastic time. A pool would be an extra benefit
