The dining room is very bland and somewhat dull. Needs some pictures/prints to brighten the walls. Pictures of some of the beautiful locations and buildings in Normandy would suit very well. Some gentle background music would be nice when dinner is being served.

The location is perfect. Great neighbourhood.did not use breakfast enough places to get breakfast. Hotel is clean. Had a family room on the top floor. Elevator is available but you realy must like each other to fit more than 1 person. Price is perfect for what you get

The beds were narrow, the bath was narrow, the hot water was not hot enough and lastly the table under the TV was dusty.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent (and heated!) swimming pool. We had a very nice and very reasonably priced dinner in the hotel restaurant. Extensive parking on site.

The outdoor pool is only accessible by walking through the restaurant which can feel a bit weird especially in the evening. The toilet in the room is in a tiny room on its own and has a door that opens inwards which means there is not enough space to close the door without standing on top of the toilet. It is fine if you are staying on your own in the room but a problem if you are sharing. The gym has no running machine.

The Novotel is built to be a motel style hotel on the Bayeux ring road. The car park is huge and it is very convenient for people travelling by car or coach. The hotel has everything you would expect from a motel in a compact package - a gym, bar, restaurant, good wifi, pool. Staff are all helpful and friendly.

Bathrooms have shower/bath which is quite high, so may not suit young children nor the more elderly. No mini bar in the room, no bottled water, although these are not a priority.

Easy access hotel with car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff, good size and comfortable rooms. The hotel is about 15 -20 minute walk to the city centre, so easy to see the Cathedral, Tapestry and beautiful city. The Museum is reasonably close too. From Bayeux it is about 20-30 minutes drive to Caen and the Normandy beaches for further sightseeing.

There was no mini fridge in the room, which would have been useful.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Fast check in and check out. The lady at the reception was very helpful in recommending places for dinner. Parking available at hotel.

The hotel claimed to be able to cater for gluten free guests, but the restaurant staff had not been trained properly. Gluten free bread was placed next to normal bread at breakfast therefore came into contact with gluten through cross contamination. Confusion over whether a meal was gluten free at dinner was not reassuring, so we ate elsewhere. The hotel needs to improve this area of food safety - what if a guest has a nut allergy which is life threatening? Our experience at Novotel Barcelona and Tours was excellent with catering for gluten free - disappointed with the Bayeux Novotel in this regard.
