We had a problem with our car which made us have to stay extra nights. Everything possible was done by the ladies on reception to make this possible.

Most bedrooms have a velux window, so it's hard to sleep if it rains (and it often rains in this area) Walking down town is a bit long, but doable

could have done with a fridge in the room, for beer / water etc. It is quite a steep walk from Cancale port to the town centre and the road that hotel is on.

lovely room with good view over the gardens and covered pool. gardens very large with loads of space, and pool although not large was a very welcome addition. very comfortable bed and bathroom. Good supermarket nearby. The Sunday morning market around Cancale cathedral is a must, as is the Oyster market daily at the port. St Malo for a day trip is a must also, especially the views from the Ramparts.

The bathroom was SO small Bedroom also very tight. Fortunately we are not big people. I had not realised the hotel was on the main road and I could not sleep owing to continuous traffic /Friday & Saturday nights.

Breakfast good. Clean hotel Good towels Called me when they found a ring under the bed. Not mine but good service. Did not use fitness centre.

I wish there was a very clear notice that tourists should be aware travel to and from the location from Paris and other points of interest is flooded with speed cameras which are intended to trap unsuspecting foreign visitors.

We thought that a 20 Euro charge to use the sauna was a bit much. Should be included as an amenity with the room.

The accommodation are in ittle holiday houses, very cute but quite small. We arrived on one of the hottest days of the year, and the heat inside the house was almost unbearable even with windows wide open.

Very helpful staff! We made a last minute same day booking online whilst on move, and stated late arrival on the booking. It was nice to then get an email and a phone call giving detailed instructions as to where to park and how to assess our room. Nice breakfast. We arrived late and left early next morning so did not have a chance to use any facilities. Quick check out process. Children's sleep area is up in a mezzanine area. It's meant to be for 6 years and above although our 5 year-old managed fine and loved it! It is convenient enough for morning ferries from St Malo. Won't mind returning on a different occasion.

We were scheduled on a morning ferry from St. Malo to Portsmouth and wanted a convenient, value for money place to stay overnight before the sailing. St. Malo hotels appealed but, for the price we wanted to pay, none had parking facilities. We'd visited Cancale before and liked it. Nuit Et Jour was a delight. Set in lovely grounds with chalet type accommodation and its own car park, Nuit Et Jour was a delight. The bed was large and very comfortable with good en-suite facilities. The room, which overlooked the garden, provided everything we wanted for a peaceful stay. Cancale sea front has a host of bars and restaurants and is around 1 kilometre away. We walked there and back without problem. A continental breakfast was offered in the main building between 8 and 10 and was more than adequate for our needs. The people are friendly and very helpful. No complaints.

Wifi was a bit weak and kept dropping signal. Would have been good to have a hand rail up the little ladder style steps to upstairs sleeping area. An extractor in the bathroom would be good.

The continental breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming. A wonderful bakery was just a block away, though, and for less than 6 euros, we fed our family of four breakfast. The fitness room was not well equipped, either, but again, the gorgeous setting gave many options for a nice morning run. The bed was hard, but clean. Our heater didn't work, and we had a couple very chilly nights.

The location was good. The center and downtown areas were close and within easy walking distance. A good-sized grocery chain was also nearby.
