Not enough power points in the bedroom, especially USB points.

Very comfortable bed. Very good shower. Bath towels good size (large). Dog made welcome. Good view of the river. Parking convenient. Very good dinner.

Room temperature was too high to sleep comfortably. In the netherlands we are used to 16-18 degC at night. Here it was 23 degC. I did not sleep well.

Check in was quick and good.

The stained carpet outside room 606 / 605. Looks like a bottle of bleach was dropped. Just needs a fix.

We needed secure parking as we had two valuable bicycles on the back of our car. The hotel has outside parking with a gate that closed at midnight with CCTV and secure underground parking. We opted for the underground parking, very secure and well worth the small extra charge for the piece of mind. The restaurant was excellent. Nicely decorated and the food was fabulous. Chef David visited the table of his diners which was a very nice touch. Breakfast was a buffet and again provided an huge range of foods to accommodate big appetites.

The only complaint was that I had to go down to the front desk on four occasions on a one night stay because my room key would not work. Each time it was topped up but not enough as each time I tried to get in my room it would not work. The most annoying time was when I wanted to collect my belongings after breakfast and could not get in the room as the key would not work again

    The dinner was excellent

Always have to wait at the bar for a long time to be served Busy in hotel to maximum and one person seemed to be working in restaurant and bar at the same time. Do not like at all paper cups to have a cup of tea in the morning. Wooden spoons I dislike also I do not get this in cheaper hotels Water was in the kettle when we got there Bed had to be moved back to the headboard as not pushed back after making up Missing something of the back of the bathroom door and big square wooden piece on a white door

I found the room lacking some modern conveniences that I consider essential when traveling such as an ironing board, USB ports and a smart TV to stream essential apps like Netflix and Spotify. The TV in the room was outdated and had a complicated screen sharing function that never worked properly, making it very inconvenient.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff is friendly. The best part was the room, really big and comfy.

Although the mattress was very comfortable more variety of firmness of pillows was needed in rooms, all pillows in the room were far too soft which affected quality of sleep. Breakfast buffet area was too cramped. Needed English breakfast tea in room.

Pleasant indoor and outdoor seating areas. Clean and comfortable rooms. Parking available albeit at an extra charge.

The room we stayed in is an eighty’s bedroom with fresh curtains and a bathroom I have not seen since the nineties in a so called 4 star hotel. The evening staff at reception and restaurant were somewhat overwhelmed and the tiles around the pool were the terrace of the restaurant is located were sticky and unappetising. Food was good but service went from friendly to ignorant, felt a bit like a ship without captain….it was packed and yes weather was disappointing, but if I was going back to beautiful Orléans, I would consider it again.

The reception, lounge and pool area have been adequately renovated and look pretty attractive both on booking.com and their own website. The payable breakfast offer is copious and tasty.

The room had a strange smell. We were told the earliest we could book dinner was 20:30 which we considered too late with a child. We found a booking online for 18:00 which turned out to be the restaurant hotel. This was disappointing as we had been advised differently. Food was great though and the Chef made an effort and came out to speak with us and other dinners.

Good location with plenty of parking.

The hallways and even the lift looks dated. They have to be renovated like the ground floor. You need to pay for parking even for the outdoor parking, it should have been free considering the rates of the hotel. The city, although beautiful, had a lot of "loiterers" along the streets, made us feel uncomfortable.

The bar and the breakfast area were nicely renovated. My daughter enjoyed the pool although the water was a bit cold. The staff were nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was a short walk to the city center, although there was not much to see, but it was beautiful. You can definitely feel that it had a rich past.

Sadly the restaurant staff. I had msged to say I was celebrating my 60th birthday. They tried to put us on the worst table in the restaurant & the 2nd wasn’t much better. We were then ignored for over 10 minutes & I had to get someone’s attention to just order a drink. Then again to order food. When they then decided to put a light on our table so we could read the menu. The food was very nice. The staff were more interested in chatting to each other & getting ready for breakfast. They seemed to ignore us but anyone French they couldn’t do enough for!

The room was clean. Great bed & good facilities & very quiet considering it was in the centre. Front of house welcome was very nice

We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was the longest wait ever to be served both at the start and in between courses. The food was ok. Breakfast is basic.

We stayed for one night only. Location is good and it has parking that could be booked in advance and that was helpful for us.

The rooms were tired and the bed cracked when I sat down and a little uncomfortable during the night. We booked a room with a balcony and it would have been nice to have a small patio set to enjoy it rather than dragging the chairs from the room out.

Location was about a 10 minute walk from the centre along the river. The breakfast was plentiful and good. Parking was next to the hotel and we found no problem getting a space. Very dog friendly 😁
