Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRooms slightly on the small size and we are fairly small ourselves. Not alot of storage we only had a our 10kg cabin cases. No drawers and little hanging space.
Location was next to the metro station. Check in was straight forward no issues. Some nice little spots around the hotel including the park, canal and plenty of eateries to choose from. Breakfast was decent and you could help yourself to whatever you fancied. Lifts were plentiful and worked well with speed. Gym facilities available even though we didn't use them.

United KingdomIt was quite far into the centre of Paris but I think this is reflected in the price
The property was well maintained and nicely decorated. There was a metro stop located very closely to the hotel. The hotel decorated our room for my mums 60th. I had read a lot of negative views about the homeless people around the hotel and we didn’t find this to be an issue.

United KingdomNothing really.
We loved it. Our sextet room was fabulous, with it being split into two separate rooms. Breakfast was decent, your usual cold items but with hot items such as scrambles egg, bacon, and beans. The half board option was good in the adjacent restaurant, although we were limited to one of the set menus and so you don't have a huge amount of choice. As for the other reviews about the area, we found it absolutely fine. A couple of homeless people but nothing worse than anywhere else, and the metro was literally a 30 second walk. We'd definitely stay here again. Free table tennis, table football, and pool too.

ItalyThe only thing that can be a bit disappointing is the fact that it isn't in a really beautiful zone of Paris, but nothing risky or dangerous
The hotel room was really comfortable with everything needed, and it is really close to the metro, so you can reach for the center of Paris really easily

United KingdomLocation, felt a bit unsafe returning to the hotel at night. Got an email saying we could check in at 10am and then turns out that was incorrect. Not sure why those comms were sent.
Rooms were great! Nice bed and shower. Love the decor. Didn’t use the bar and restaurant area but it looked very nice.

United KingdomOnly one sachet of coffee in the room, there were two of us! This was never replaced during our stay so we could not use the kettle in the room as there was no coffee supplied. Would expect this to replenished daily in a 4 star hotel.
Great decoration and the French Martinis in the bar were delicious at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Two metros really near the property so easy to get about.

GermanyThe rooms were small but we're in the city, it's to be expected. The bathroom only has one light, so it was dim. We prefer more illumination for make-up and such things.
Great location sitting across the street from a variety of restaurants, easy public transit access, and close to the venue my friends and I were in town for. The lobby was very nice (instagtammable), check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff was friendly enough. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. I liked the inclusion of full-length mirrors, it's the little things.

United KingdomThe surrounding area is not particularly attractive. The hotel seems to be a little basic for having four stars.
Our hotel room was of adequate size, with a comfortable bed and very clean. The staff were mainly very pleasant and helpful. The location is close to a metro line into the main attractions of Central Paris.

United KingdomGood that there is a gym but bare in mind only 2 running machines and 2 sit back cycle machines. Only given one room key between 5 people. Staff at check in are quite short / dismissive and we needed to ask questions to things we expect to be explained e.g., times of breakfast / dinner, how it works, map of the city (which is available) etc. City tax has gone up by x4 so had an extra €121 to pay - nothing the hotel could do about this one. The kettle in our room didn't work properly. There was a lot of noise coming through the floor from the room above on our last night which kept us up a bit. The room smelt a bit of damp when we arrived. The USB power sockets in the room didn't work. A bit of TLC needed here and there (e.g., toilet roll holders in the bathroom were loose).
Great buffet breakfast with good selection of big croissants, hot food, yoghurts, very nice teas, good coffee machines, cheeses, hams, cakes, pancakes, bread, jams, and cut fruits. The 6 person room was a good size. The beds were soft and comfy. There was a dividing door between both rooms. Hotel was well designed and modern with very good lighting and furnishings. Good lifts to rooms. Nice games room on lower floor with arcade machine, pinball, punching bag, ping pong and pool table. Easy access to hippopotamus restaurant through adjoining door. Good value half board. Hippopotamus restaurant worked well for us and was good value - the allowance of €25 per person for dinner was just enough in the end - this included drinks. The area felt safe for us. Indigo car park just behind the hotel worked well and currently does a deal for 7 nights at a similar price to 3 nights. Great access to metro and tram lines into city centre. Good free map. Most of the staff were really friendly and welcoming.
