Not enough towels in the room so had to go back to reception to ask for more. Luckily we'd arrived early enough that staff were still on duty otherwise 5 of us would have been sharing 3 towels! The air conditioning units in both the rooms we had didn't appear to give out air...hot or cold so during this Summer's heatwave we roasted alive in our rooms!

Rooms were clean and great for an overnight stay while traveling back from the South of France to get the ferry at Calais.

If you like big towels then bring your own. Was tricky to get from hotel to shops with the wheelchair. would recommend driving the 2/3 mins and not trying to cross the roads. NOTE: reception closes at 9, and after this it is automated check in. Annoying for the man whose tv remote stopped working and there was no one around to help. My room key/card stopped working but with booking details I was able to use the machine to create an extra key. IF BOOKING A DISABLED ACCESSIBLE ROOM I RECOMMEND CHECKING WITH THE HOTEL DIRECT . I MADE ABSOLUTELY SURE ON BOOKING . COM SITE THAT I HAD SELECTED AN ACCESSIBLE ROOM, AND WROTE OUR REQUIREMENTS IN THE NOTES SECTION. HOTEL DID NOT KNOW ANY OF THIS AND ORIGINALLY ALLOCATED A FIRST FLOOR ROOM.

Certainly not luxurious but very adequate for an overnight stay. Very clean. Bathroom in regular room very small but shower was actually very good. We also needed a wheelchair accessible room; it was snug but big enough to get powerchair in and a hoist. Hoist went under the bed no problem. Breakfast buffet very basic but plentiful- tea coffee juice brioche toast & yogurt. Parking secured by a gate that locks at night, lots of spaces and was able to park in a disabled bay directly in front of room. Shutters on windows make you feel very safe in ground floor room. Close to out of town shops/lidl/eateries.

The air conditioning is more like a fan than an air conditioner, not very useful.

Loved the location. Very easy to get to, and very easy check in. Close to all the sights you would be looking at doing the WW1 trail. Like others have said, it's a bed for the night, nothing more, with plenty of eating options within walking distance. For us, the price was right!

This is an excellent cheap hotel a very short drive from where the busses departed for the 2018 Anzac day dawn service at Villiers Brettonneux. The rooms are small but very inexpensive. A good option as a place to sleep before and after the dawn service. There are a few restaurants to walk to nearby.

The hotel is inexpensive yet very clean. The employees working at the check in were extremely pleasant and helpful. For us the hotel is just right for an overnight stay while driving through France. It's close to the motorway (on/off) and a big family can rent two 3-person rooms next to each other. The hotel breakfast (5.90 EUR/Adult, 3.90 EUR child) is a great way to start the day before driving off.

No one to see about it or ask to change rooms just a computerised check in. Depressingly old decor - dark cream old paint ashtrays in the toilets. Room very dark, small and smelled of a smoker. The aircon unit ineffectual - didn't work. The lavatory pan was cracked (don't even think about the germs in the cracks!) and under the little tin soap holders in the washandbasin more dirt. Poor quality toilet paper - bought our own. The pillows felt as if they had been stuffed with toilet paper. Happily we took our own. If the Premiere Classe at Arras was 40 Euros a night then the Premiere Classe at Amiens should be only 10 Euros a night. Would not go back. Worst hotel we've stayed in.

We were placed on top floor when requested ground as parents struggle with stairs and easier for the dogs. Room was clean bed comfortable get what you pay for. This hotel was used by many White Van Men. My issue with this is they smoke on the balconies outside there front door. We were kept awake till 2am by men on lower floor drinking and bonding with females on our floor. At least 5 men and 2 women having time of there lives at our expense. We where shattered. They were spoken to twice but ignored. Im sorry I wouldnt recommend staying here. Reception didnt speak english and was not manned during the night.

The room was clean but the shower in the bathroom was open and so we flooded the bathroom floor and then the floor in our room. When we showered after that we had to hand hold the shower head for each other so water didn't go everywhere. There was no bathmat provided. Wifi was intermittent as had to go to reception for them to reboot it. Very basic and compared to other places I have stayed in Europe I felt it was over priced! Not a room that you would be wanting to spend anytime in other than sleeping.

A problem with drainage - we spent a good 15 mins trying to rid the room of an awful smell! We ended up using half a bottle of shower gel and " flushing " it through the drain in the shower - not nice!! Whilst it helped, there was still a trace of the odour -- not nice but we were exhausted after a long drive and were only there for one night! The people in the room directly behind us had a dog in their room which barked and howled -- ok, so it was only 10 pm, but we were tired ! The air con did not work , but was quite effective in silencing the aforementioned dog when I " barked" back at it through the a/c!!

Nice big shower room - plenty of space possible intended for disabled travellers as it was on the ground floor of the hotel? Close to a lovely sea food type restaurant which afforded hotel guests 10% discount. It was very handy and easy for access to major routes. Man on reception very polite and helpful.

I walked an hour trying to find the hostel, middle of nowhere. The only good food around it is an asian buffet place and it's 17 Euros for the buffet which is way over my budget. I sent them an email before going but they never replied. It wasn't a nice experience.

I thought Premiere Classe meant first class. Not so. The louvre door on the bathroom wouldn't close, the shower rose wouldn't stay hooked up, so water went every where. The two towels were almost threadbare. No bath mat.No toilet paper. Just a squeeze of soap in shower. They did fix the problems the next day. The breakfast was good.

Being able to drive around most of the Australian War Graves in the Somme which were nearby.

It's not that we didn't like it, but there are better places to stay for one night which are in the same price bracket. The shower head broke so you had to try and shower whilst not flooding the room as the water was flowing under the door and into the room and also not get everything else wet in the bathroom ie towel! Our room was noisy as it was right at the top of the stairs, so there were others arriving after us discussing which way to go to their room, people using the balcony for their smoking session and chatting noisily. It is what it is, it's not luxury but we have stayed in worse, but there are better out there

I was unhappy as i had booked a twin room for 4 nights for my husband and his brother and this is not what we expected! 2 male over 70 Tour de France enthusiasts given a room with a double bed which had a bunk bed over the top is not acceptable but as it was very busy this is what they had to put up with. The shower room was a small enclosure exactly like a caravan would have.

This is 'automatic' hotel without any staff available at late hours. The gate was closed. There was a keypad 'Enter code' but no instruction what code is needed. It turned to be some code printed on a receipt printed by the automatic check-in machine after payment. Instructions in English provided for the machine and the gate lock were apparently translated from french by some google-like translator - barely understandable.

    • Family with older children

There were a lot of people staying at this hotel to attend the dawn service which meant getting up at around 2.00am-2.30am. The hotel management knew this but allowed a group of about 12 who were not attending the service to shout and sing till about 11.00pm right outside our room. Breakfast was very minimal and quite pricey for what you got.

We were in Amiens to attend the Anzac service in Villers Bretonneux, so the location was good. Free WiFi a bonus.

Stay here only if there is absolutely no other accommodation available. The smallest room I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was almost as big as those found on planes. Glad it was only one night; if I'd booked for two I would have gladly sacrificed the cost of the second for a decent sleep elsewhere.
