Lifts smelled of urine doused in copious quantities of disinfectant. Yuk. Sheets smelled very musty, overall very very dirty, in need of a complete redecoration or preferably knocking down and rebuilding.

Location. Apart from that it was absolutely awful. Question to the owners: Is this being used as a hostel for workers/homeless as the clientele didn’t appear to be hotel residents.

Lack of parking at the hotel. There is a car park around the corner for €6 per day but this can add up if you're staying more than a few days.

The rooms are awful. They are dated, very cheap and in disrepair. The bathroom would have to be the worst hotel bathroom I have experienced with very little space and nowhere to hang towels or place toiletries. The poor maid has her work cut out to keep these rooms habitable.

The hotel is well located, only a short walk from Place de la Republique and an easy tram ride or drive to the Le Mans race circuit.

Depressing, but comfortable night for a just price
    • Solo traveller
    • Double Room
    • Stayed 1 night

Decor was the most depressing of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, a kind of muddy insalubrious off-yellow, long past its refreshment date. The lighting added to the gloom - too little battling with once-fashionable light-absorbing surfaces. The shower room in fact was clean enough, but the flaking paint, lack of a soap dish and again gloom added to the hovel-like impression of the room.

The price, and the welcome fresh breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful, if very thin on the ground. Breakfast room was cheery and bright. Lifts functioned well. Car park very secure and dry, however enormously difficult to get car in the morning, despite the 'open 24/24' sign outside

the room melled of damp the shower water went everywhere the floor of the bathroom clearly had water underneath we had to pay for the car pack (not evident on booking). it was at least secure height restriction in the carpark not noted in original data. only 6 spaces with limited turning room when I said this to the guy on the reception that the car park info was not given on booking, he said "well I'm tellling you now, so now you know....." not a very safe looking area: on the website you have the impression that this is a "green" area with gardens etc. it looks more like a converted prison. i would remove this from your listings in order to keep your reputation from suffering negative reviews

location was ok, nothing else really.

There was just one guy, to take the phone calls, checking in and checking out the clients, serving the drinks for the customers. You need to be patient and the company needs to hire another person. I heard some noises in the hallway in the middle of the night, there were two rooms arguing and yelling at each other. Eventually it came the police to take them away. It is the first time in my life that there was not city maps in the hotel.

The price of the room seemed a bargain but 6€ for parking and 3€ for a bottle of water plus high prices for alcoholic drinks bumped up the price.

The rooms are old and you can see and hear it. There is no real noise insulation, so you can hear the neighbours discussions and commotion on the hallway with ease. The bathrooms are tiny. I am neither tall (nor wide), but it was almost impossible to dry yourself properly after a shower. The toilet is wedged into a corner so tightly, that it was quite uncomfortable to sit on.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast does not have much variety, but it is fresh and more than adequate for the price. The location is very convinient to visit the town center on foot. Taking a stroll to the cathedral or the museums is possible. Overall I would say it is an ok hotel, considering the price per night!

Up to the room that was so small you could lie in bed and wash your feet in the toilet, hadn't even been cleaned properly there was half used bottles of shower gel all over the bathroom and plug hole was so close to the table that you can't get a Euro adapter into it because the table is in the way. Nothing, all as expected. you get what u pay for!! I appreciate i only have basic French, but local multi storey car parks small print was confusing, perhaps a notice in English at car parks or in hotel lobby about length of stay and charges, as I thought I was going to be charged €30 euros fine for overnight, surprised only 5.80 think the fine may be for 24hrs.

A fabulously positioned hotel for visiting le mans, on a budget, room basic but clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Its a 5 min walk to either the river, the main square or the old town, this is a city far more beautiful than anticipated. The room was sparten. There was no airr conditioning. Some lights did not go and the bathroom window did not open. Beware of the on site parking. It is very tight to get into if cars are parked in the first two bays. We damaged a brand new car - not the hotels fault but be warned.

Not far from central city and the convenience of on site parking. Bed was comfortable but pillows soft. What was expected for the money.

Dismal rooms and architecture with the rear windows overlooking a local housing estate. My impression is that this Hotel would not be in business were it not for the overspill of visitors attending the Le Mans car rallies.

that I had only booked for one overpriced night. Nice historic town though, worth a visit.
