Problem in the bathroom

Wonderful location fronting onto one of Grenoble’s lovely green spaces, overlooked by the mountains and close to the river, with shops and eateries just around the corner. Great choice for dog owners like us. Apartment was huge and comfortable too

Not a lot of restaurant/supermarket options of an evening after 8pm without a decent 15 minute walk into the old town

Reception staff were quite accommodating and for young families, there is a park with swings etc on your doorstep.

We stayed for six nights and there was no room cleaning or bin changing within that time. We asked at reception whether our floor could be vacuumed, and we were told that it wasn't an option that we had selected whilst booking (there was no such option). We also finished one of the little complementary shower gels after three days and I asked for another, to which I was told that it was only a welcome gesture. On booking.com, it definitely states that there are free toiletries. I would completely understand not giving toiletries away as it can be wasteful, but I think for six nights that a second mini bottle is justified. I would also understand not cleaning the room constantly during a guest's stay, but I think when the room has a kitchenette, a bin change and a vacuum would be nice. Alternatively, the room could supply a long handled broom and a new bin bag for us to clean up a bit.

The location was amazing and it was great to have a kitchenette and a dog friendly hotel. We really appreciated having air conditioning and proper black out blinds. It allowed us to get some well-deserved rest.

The rooms and the building itself needs some update. It has a big potential as the building has its soul.

The room was fairly good for two nights and walking distance from our center of interest. The location is pleasant. The reception staff is helpful.

Nothing really. A bit too hot and didn't seem to be able to turn the heating down. Opened the windows, no problem, but feels a bit wasteful!

Great value, good space and facilities, amazing reception team. Easy secure parking under hotel for a discounted rate. Clean and comfortable. Fabulous mountain views, but then it's hard to avoid mountain views in Grenoble!

The location was very good, close the the city center. The rooms were very clean. All the staff without exception are very cooperative and they will do whatever they can to help.

It was an attic room and unbearably hot. It was possible to open the velux window (no other windows) but that didn't help much. This was in October, it would have been almost dangerous in the summer. Some small things didn't work - fan in the bathroom and the light above the bathroom mirror.

Facilities in the room were very good, bathroom, kitchen (including microwave and dishwasher, kettle and hob), TV, work desk. Lighting and mirrors. Toiletries supplied were good, including body wash, soap, shampoo, body lotion and other bits.

The room they gave us only had a skylight. There was no window, and for those who stay for a long time (we stayed for 9 days) it is quite unpleasant not being able to have a view through the window. At the time of booking they inform that it has a skylight, but it was not clear that there was no window. There are other accommodations with windows, so I think it would be wise for long-stay bookings to book a better room. When I inquired, they said I would have to pay extra to move to a room with a window.

The location is excellent, with a mall, restaurants and market very close by. Central area and very nice neighborhood. Attentive staff and always willing to help and guide. Very close to the tram stop.

Rooms on the 4th floor do not have direct view outside, only roof windows.

Clean, rather small but practical and well equipped place. Convenient location in Grenoble close to the mall with many stores as well as restaurants/bars. Easy check-in. Public parking available in the mall nearby (17Eur overnight). Caserne de Bonne also has a limited number of parking slots at a discounted rate in that parking yet you need to ask about these before entering the parking. We did not know it upfront.

We had to ask for new towels after about 7 days. We had first new linned after 8 - 9 days and then both linned and towels again the day before we left - on day eleven.
