The smells in and around hotel

Great location and friendly staff.

Breakfast very nice but I was originally told it was 14.90 euros and when I paid the bill it was 15.50 euros

When asked for my bat bill it was incorrect ( too much) and it was very haphazard and they were charging us for drinks we didn’t have. No printed bill , do best to pay gir drinks at the time.

The breakfast was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Nice that there was a pool. Location for restaurants and swimming were good. Great location.

No lift if you can’t manage stairs. Although not a problem for us it might be for some. Card entry as there is limited reception hrs. This is a family hotel so understandable.

Nothing really

Breakfast is exceptional. Team is lovely and communicates with guests very well. Parking is easy. Improvements clearly in Progress! Much nicer than most other locations anywhere near Marseilles airport- and just 20 mins away.

Room was very small. Current construction of a new terrasse made the breakfast salon a bit closed in. Bad weather (not the hotel’s fault obviously!) so couldn’t take advantage of the ocean-side location or facilities.

Room: rather cramped; only one chair (2 people); very limited choice of TV stations - and the batteries had been put into the remote controller the wrong way round! Breakfast: excellent Pity there was no bar or restaurant attached and open.

The loveliest couple run this hotel, they are polite, charming and we had a beer with them One evening and practised our French!! The hotel is v near a lovely, safe, sandy beach with a charming restaurant/ice cream Parlour above.

Nothing....

Stayed here at the beginning of September, just after the French school 'Rentrée'. Still high season, but quieter! The location of La Tuilière is just perfect. Only a 1 minute walk to the sea, 10 minutes seafront walk to the harbour, and it was really lovely to wake up to the sight of sunrise over the Côte Bleu. Our triple room was just right (although not huge!). The small outdoor pool was great for kids to play in at the end of the afternoon, and there was still enough space to lounge with a coffee or a glass of wine and still be able to keep an eye on them. Breakfast was very good, nice bread, pains chocolats/raisins, crêpes, yoghurts, fruit, coffee etc, and it was nice to be able to eat outside. That said, at €15 each it was a bit expensive. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and even with my very bad french it was possible to communicate with no problem ;-) Check out the hotel's own photos- they are pretty representative of the place, definitely not too 'glossy' to rely on. We loved this place!

The rooms, pool, and staff were wonderful. An outstanding restaurant on the beach was a 3 minute walk away in one direction and the center of town was a 10 minute walk the other direction. Very convenient.

I had confirmed there was an airport shuttle available for the time we needed two weeks before our arrival but was informed while checking in that due to staffing we would have to take a cab. The hotel did schedule a cab for us and it arrived right on time, but cost 78€ to go to the Marseille airport. It is not close by.

Staff, room, pool

Location absolutely perfect for beach. Pool great to be able to retreat to when we expired at the beach.

Room is small for the price and awkwardly laid out. Fixtures/fittings feel cheaply attached and easy to accidentally break.
