Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsNothing for the price.
Clean, tidy hotel overlooking the river, a a short walk over the bridge and into the heart of the old town and from the station. Good continental breakfast, nice helpful staff. Value for money. They also served pizza and wine for dinner when we were too tired to wander out after a days sightseeing.

United States of AmericaIt was tricky to find the location from the highway; we had to call and the young woman from the desk came out to let us into the parking lot. Also, the heater in our room didn't work that well; the young woman at the desk kind of apologized for its age.
Location was fun to walk into the center of Meaux. Also, desk staff was very helpful in printing out our boarding pass. If you're flying out of CDG in the morning, this is a much more interesting location than an "airport" hotel, and it really only took about 1/2 hour to get to CDG. Breakfast was lovely, including FRESH SQUEEZED Orange Juice, and Brie de Meaux.

LuxembourgI have stayed in Ibis and Ibis Budget before and this was the first time in Ibis Styles. I must say I was so amazed to see the hotel and the facilities in room. Definitely the hotel has a style! We had a very comfortable stay. Very nice view of the river. The reception staff was very polite and welcoming. Buffet breakfast had enough nice options. I specially loved that they had separate cutlery and crockery for kids 🙂 Such a cute hotel and great experience. Highly recommend.

United KingdomThere is very little hotel parking and, as we hadn’t booked, we had to find on-street parking, which was a challenge in a city-centre location. If you need parking, remember to book ahead!
We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful lady when we arrived. The room was perfectly functional and had everything we needed for a short overnight stay. The reception area has a lovely children’s area and breakfast was better than we’ve had in other hotels at a similar price-point.

Romania- the room had outdated walls (with outdated model paint) (it had a stale smell) - the single bed was an uncomfortable bed (some beasts would fit in your back, if you were heavier) - if you arrive at the hotel after 12 o'clock at night, you have to call an intercom and the staff will ask you all kinds of questions to identify you as staying in that hotel
the location ( close to the bus that goes to Disney (30 minutes to Disney) and the tren also(1h max to Paris)

United KingdomRoom carpet was so dirty that I was afraid walking on it. It reminded me one hotel in Spain when we get some buggs, so they should really do something with it as you feel quite uneasy. Ventilation very poor, dirty windows with some insects in them.
Ibis is a budget hotel chain, so you can expect, what you have for a price. The hotel is located in the Meaux centre by the river, so it is difficult with parking and you have to pay extra for it about £7/day, which is not a lot, but if you add room price and you want to stay longer that will obviously count. We stay there with my son as we had tickets to Disneyland (about 10miles away from the hotel). Hotel is OK, but I wouldn't recommend stay there for longer then two days. Generally the quality and cleanliness is poor, lots of strangers around the hotel and price is to high for what do they offer. Breakfast choice good though.
