The staff were exceptionally helpful. The manager was extremely accomodating and friendly. He is a keen cyclist and advised us on our ride up the Cap De Long. He even called the cafe at the top of the mountain to ensure we made it. In-addition he let us check out very late. The manager, the hotel - with its excellent facilities were superb! Definitely recommend to stay here. This a genuine review - I'm a Cambridge, UK cyclist.

You can feel that it is an old hotel right away. Not the worst, but a little renovation could be beneficial.

Good hotel, liked everything. Traveled in August, thus could not experience the fool glory of the ski resort. Great common room and huge parking outside.

Quite tricky to find the hotel pool, spa and sauna (possibly because of renovations that were being done).

Lovely selection at breakfast, fantastic location - very close to the ski lift and slightly apart but close to the town centre, ski rental, helpful staff at reception. Nice hammam.

Food and drink expensive and dinner not that great.

Hotel was ok and room was good value. However, food and drink in the hotel were very expensive and dinner wasn't that great.

The rooms did not have air conditioning and it was too hot (in August). The beds have Swedish comforters and are set for the winter - much too hot for the summer. Restaurant: So-so Sensoria: Spa only for over 16. Our son was 15 and we couldn't use it. Sensoria Rio: Canyon-like pool for the family. Great but overcrowded. Also the water was too warm (32º).

Well run hotel - good overall comfort - facilities - free parking - free internet - Saint Lary was great.

We were here in a very hot week in July and there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms which made sleeping uncomfortable, although the hotel did provide a fan when we asked for one. Also beware if you're not French that men cannot use public pools wearing long shorts. My son was asked to leave the pool as he wasn't wearing speedos. This is a strange custom for a Brit and it hadn't been explained, so it was embarrassing and upsetting for him.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very comfortable. The bar and restaurant are good and the hotel has a fantastic pool for kids with a lazy river, although there is an extra charge for this. They were also able to provide walking maps of the local area which was very helpful.

No air-condition. The spa was no actual spa. Run down facility by the garage. Looked more like a public bath.

The rooms were big and comfortable.

The Mercure is attached to Nuxe Spa/Sensoria (but the latter is under separate management). As a guest at Mercure, you are encouraged to make use of the Spa but my advice is to stay well away from it - the place was horrible.

The Mercure was good value and a comfortable well-located hotel with excellent staff and good facilities. Although we don't ski, I imagine it would be ideal for skiers.

The hotel really, really, really needs to add air conditioning in the summer. Rooms were uncomfortably hot.

Great location, great for kids. Loved the pool table and other kids activities

The free WiFi is slow - you have to pay for the faster option. Entry to the Sensoria Rio is not included in the room rate, which is not clear in the hotel details. Complimentary water would have been nice each night and not just on day 1. Only one room key available. Hotel meals very expensive.

Location, size and comfort of the bed, room size, sauna and steam room, bar area, onsite ski hire facilities and storage.
