The bed comfort, the pillow quality. Staff had bad attitude, especially a receptionist at night and morning shift before check out - bad customer service. Hotel felt really old. The curtain separating bathroom and room was hideous.

We liked everything about the hotel, but if you like a traditional hotel, this is not for you.

This is a very quirky hotel. The focus is on design, and this was our second stay there. I can see it would not be to everyone's taste, but if you are interested in modern design, you will love it. The surrounding location gets better every time we are in Bordeaux. It's incredibly easy to get to the city centre on the tram, and it is close to the amazing Cite du Vin.

Very Offensive smell in the foyer & sometimes in the corridors. Traffic noise outside so bad it was impossible to sleep before early hours of the morning. No hotel restaurant. Temperature in breakfast room so hot we couldn't use it. Carpet stained, needed cleaning.

Bed was comfortable. Staff did their best to make our stay enjoyable but had no control over street noise levels.

On entering the Hotel there was a very strange smell, similar to problems with the drains. This continued on the various landings/corridors. However it was not a problem in our room. Also the Spa was not operational during our stay.

Very convenient to the new Cite du Vin which was one of the reasons for our visit to Bordeaux.

last minute booking for a one night stop in Bordeaux and absolutely no regrets: - Unexpectedly perfect location! It's situated right in front of and at the start of the quay which is beautiful and full of energy - It's quieter than the main city area which is only ~7mins away by tram (stop is almost directly outside the hotel and costs less than 2€) or a 20 min stroll. - For the shoppers, there is a row of outlet shops just in front of the hotel, right by the quay (Princess Tam Tam!and many others which unfortunately, i had no time to explore) - Nothing lacking for the buffet breakfast (option to have it served to your room available too). the bread was superb :) - rooms were new, very clean and well appointed. Big bathroom. No complaints!! :D

Lack of towel rack in the bathroom.

Very modern designed hotel which is well located with tram stop directly in front of it, and takes you to the city center within 10 minutes. Hotel is not directly at the city center, but rather a newly developed tourist area in Bordeaux, 'La Cité du Vin' is within walking distance from the hotel! Breakfast is also adequate.

Parking lot was full, after second night two of our four bikes got stolen right in front of the hotel. Not their fault, but they could have been more accommodating since we asked to shelter our bikes upon arrival.

Given the short time I was there -- arrived at 18:30, left at 7:00 -- i had no problems with the hotel.

Staff was very friendly. room was small, but clean and comfortable. bar on second floor was pleasant. Location is either very good or very bad, depending on your reason for being there. If you want central Bordeaux, this is not the place. If you want immediate access to the tram (buy tickets at the front desk) or to the wine museum, this is the place. Large shopping area and several restaurants are directly across the tramway.

The hotel rooms have a "smokey" odour. After we asked to be moved to a 2nd room and we complained again, they informed us they were aware of this odour as it was a regular comment. Quite dark in the corridors, not at all inviting. In the corridors it smelt like a sauna. The rooms were not clean. At times there was no hot water to shower. Staff (lady) at check-in was not at all friendly nor helpful. Had to pay a deposit for the umbrellas (stylish but not at all practical). Had to call house keeping/reception every day for things that were not replaced (IE bottles of water, shower gel.....) This hotel has potential but needs management to step up the game if it is to compete.

The website, as it sells it well! The big bath. The gentleman that checked us out

staff didn't take the initiative to tell us what to do in Bordeaux, the hotel was extremely smelly, the room was superficially clean. We had the impression we might get STDs just by sleeping in that room and air. We paid more per night than in most of the other stays in our trip yet this was the worst of all the hotels. Definitely not worth the score it has

There is no privacy for the shower, so more ideal for a couple to share a room than friends. The hammam is in dire need of fixing up, with cracked seats and unattractive rubber matting on top of a stained floor.

Location is not great, it's a little rough compared to the centre of Bordeaux, but I believe they are investing money into the surrounding area with modern properties. This should improve the location. Breakfast is expensive and not great.

All three ladies that rotated at the front desk during our two-day stay had NO knowledge of local restaurants in town or anywhere. I'm learning about this "free WiFi" business. Reception was very intermittent and dodgy up on our 4th floor level. Hotel staff blame their telco's , but I strongly suspect they are not paying for sufficient bandwidth. We had three devices for example.

Wonderful, modern, "out there" décor. Wonderful room and its facilities. Very central. Shopping & restaurant precinct across the road and trams outside to take one anywhere- better than driving & parking!
