Sort of run-of-the-mill place, no character at all, 3* airport hotel type of thing. Ongoing construction. View from the room is very partial sea view. Room is as bland as the rest of it, toiletries, bathroom fixtures, towels all bottom-of-the-barrel. This said, clean, predictable, professional, and, generally speaking, good enough.

Bathroom door didn't close properly. It probably would have been better with a sliding door.

It was close to the old town and on tne sea front. Facilities were clean and modern.

No toilets on the ground floor, so if you're in the bar there's a flight of stairs to negotiate.

The hotel car park was always full so we wasted a lot of time trying to find a space nearby. Five spaces isn't enough for the size of the hotel.

We had a room with seawiev and it was wonderful to see sundown and changing tide. The bed was good to sleep but room was too hot (because of 39 degrees outside). Old, beautiful city was in walking distance.

Because we had to change a booking from 3 nights to 2,reception refused to honour our 1st booking by not allowing breakfast and putting us in a jammed corner room. The bed was worn on one side and you felt like you were going to fall out, internet was slow and on one night you could not change the TV channe ldidn't matter what you tried. Hotel lacked atmosphere, there are better places to stay in St Malo than here.

The location just outside old city with east street parking after 5pm.

Only less positive point is that the hotel does not have a private parking immediately close to the hotel. They nevertheless propose a private parking slot a few minutes walking away.

Our stay at this hotel was almost perfect! Outstanding friendly and helpful staff, nice room, very good facilities and the location in front of the sea was just great and only 10 min to go to the centre of St Malo.

Reserved a spot in the secure car park but because of the bad weather the previous users decided to stay another day so had to leave motorcycle on the road. Not the hotels problem and there were no issues with the bike.

The cost of parking was too high and the wifi was poor in the room.

Easy to find and located very well for the walled town, about a 7 min stroll along the sea front. On arrival the staff spoke good English and gave us directions to their secure car park where we had booked a space for out motorcycles, this was a few mins walk from the main building but not a problem. The room was very good, it was spacious and clean and modern with excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast was sold as a 15€ deal per person but in reality they do an 8€ express breakfast that suited us more, 15€ would be too expensive. Our room had a sea view and the Air con worked well without too much noise.

Cardboard cups for tea making in bedroom, and a rather mean quantity of tea and coffee. Parking was difficult and on the street, although with patience a space could be found eventually. Hotel could do with its own car park.

Couple of things pulled down the score such as being sat at the bar for 5 minutes waiting to be served on two occasions while staff chatted. Although great choice at breakfast, no option to order from the kitchen. If you're a tea drinker (English breakfast) - make sure to bring a bag of your favourite tea bags!!

Perfectly located just outside the remparts, approximately 5-6 minute walk. The staff were accommodating and helpful. Lots of choice for breakfast, and tasty. Room lovely and big with robe and slippers to use (despite the lack of a spa or pool). Overall great choice.
