The bests things about this hotel was the staff, location, nearby parking with hotel agreement. I found out too late that they also have an agreement with a local gym. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices for various nationalities. The staff was extremely helpful and never appeared put out by me asking too many questions- they were always more than willing to help and seemed excited when they pleased you. You can drive right up to the front of the hotel to unload and load luggage - just know, when you use GPS it will take you to the Pedestrian area; follow it and when you get to the barriers, put the button on the stand, wait, and when someone answers, just tell them the hotel you are going to. I had parked and walked to the hotel and they informed me of this. Something frequent travelers would know, but not someone coming to the area for the first time. It is also within a couple of blocks walking distance from the main train station!

Wifi was poor and there was building work all night which interrupted sleep a lot. No parking and you have to park at a multi storey about two streets away. A pain if you have a lot to carry as you can't get close enough to drop off.

Good central location and the staff were polite. Lots of places to eat and drink. Very clean and comfy bed. Good selection at breakfast.

The design of the room was unique. The coffee to go in the room and the helpful one use stuff were very useful. The most amazing thing, was giving you the choice of your own pillow. Impressive & huge amount of breakfast, take away coffee and luggage room were some of the things that are very helpful for a visitor. A hotel full organised and very well thought, left us impressed.

Room was cramped for 2 people but as we only had a small bag each for our short visit, that wasn't an issue

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent breakfast - good choice and fresh. Only thing I didn't like was the tray on the table which made it feel like a fast-food restaurant. Friendly staff, parking close by (you can drive up to the hotel entrance to unload luggage), and central location for a city visit.

We were there the third week of August. The hotel is fine, but getting there is a challenge because it's on a pedestrian mall. Most of the streets are one way and it is very difficult to get close to the hotel. The information tells you parking is close. It is - sort of. It's actually at the train station about two blocks away and underground. The problem is finding a way to unload your luggage anywhere close to the hotel. I think all this could be made more clear.

The room was a bit on the small side, but that really didn't matter since we were out all day sightseeing.

We enjoyed the location-close to the train station and not too far of a walk to the Cathedral Square. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was very helpful. They stored our luggage the last day and called a cab for us so we could get to the river cruise port.

It was very hot and air condition was not working (apparently the hotel switched on the heating and air condition could not work at the same time) - OK, it was really warm outside for November. Anyway, the only option was to sleep with the window open and the street is very noisy. Price for the standard room too high for the quality and accessories.

when we complained about a rotten smell emanating from the drain in the shower, management kept insisting that it was the first time such a thing had ever happened. we felt they were implying that it was our fault, but we hadn't even used the shower. They should have said oh that's terrible, we'll take care of it. (They did take care of it, but we felt they were making us feel that it was our fault and not theirs!) Furthermore the rooms are tiny, they are more for a businessman on a trip than for a retired couple who have difficult moving around.

I had booked a room for disabled access, and we were really impressed with the room layout and facilities. Room and hotel was very clean, quiet and staff were more than helpful. Modern dinning room for breakfast with good choice of hot or cold food. Short time slot Parking Bay outside front door of hotel to allow diasabled disembarking and luggage transfer.

The only thing we did not like was the heavy comforter with no sheets. It made sleeping too hot.

Helpful staff. Great location near train station and center city. Large room with large bathroom and many storage and surface areas. Two chairs. Air conditioning.

We were there during recent heat wave and the air conditioning was excellent. Most places we stayed had terrible wi fi but it was perfect here. Lovely breakfast in nice, fun room. Very close to everything in old town. Just near railway station. Reasonably priced.

It seems to me that staff is overworked and seems a bit stressed - i have seen that they combine receptionist duties together with collecting the plates during the breakfast in the morning. I think it is too much work at the same time. Otherwise the staff was helpful and polite.

Lift broken down for a day. Quality of towels (and size) is poor. This is common with other Mercures we have stayed at during the past 2 years.

Good value for the location, which is 10 min walk to the Petite France district and 5 mins from the Central Station. The hotel has a modern feel and us clean. Breakfasts are good.

The breakfast was expensive so we did not get it. They charged for coffee in the lobby and only had instant in the rooms. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were way too hard!

Nice place. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Loved the free chocolates in the lobby, but this may only have been available because it was Christmas time.
