Not convinced about the area. Looked a bit rough - but in all fairness, our bikes were still attached to the car the next day. Not much to see in the town but, once again we were just staying for the night (passing through). The owners speak no English - Not a problem, after all, it is a French hotel. Just be aware.

The best nights sleep we had had in a few nights. The room was cool whilst the rest of the outside world was sizzling. Really comfy beds. Breakfast was fab. Even eggs and bacon!

    All good.

Exceptionally clean and Welcoming. Please don't be "put off" by the location in this residential area when you "arrive". Very friendly folk around. Short stroll to the town centre where there are a choice of excellent restaurants.

Mattresses not fantastic but fine for 1 night.

The hotel was easy to find in a quiet location and a short walk from town where we found a nice restaurant and boulangerie. Everything is spotlessly clean and extra pillows provided. Breakfast was fantastic. Polite and helpful staff.

Very comfortable room for a one night stay - well appointed - up to date furnishings. Warm welcome. Breakfast was one of the best we had on holiday. Easy walk into town to find dinner in the evening. We would stay there again when crossing France.

Breakfast is not included in the booking price and at 9.5 euro per person is expensive for the choices offered.

Functional hotel in Vitry-le-Francois in a quiet location but within easy access to the N4 and N44. Short distance to the lovely catherdral square with restaurants and bars.

Nothing really, it is a good location not far to walk to restaurants.

Wasn't a bad hotel , not the best we have stayed in. The husband and wife team were very helpful. The breakfast was basic though nice. The hotel was next to an unused building so very hard to make hotel look really nice, though they have made the gardens very nice with what they have to work with.

    Proper mugs

We were warmly welcomed and although the concrete steps up two flights to our allotted room were rather dreary, the room itself was light and bright with everything we needed. Vitry Le Francois was a much pleasanter town than I was expecting with plenty of amenities.

A little of the beaten track (well the A26 anyway) and the breakfast is quite expensive at 9 euros each.

We had a family room with one double and 2 single beds. The room was very clean, comfortable and cool when we arrived. Everything has been thought of from tea and coffee facilities in the room to a hairdryer and plenty of towels. Within easy walking distance of the town square and restaurants. Would highly recommend hotel, particularly at the price!

This was a night's stay on a walking tour across France and a lovely place to recuperate from the day. Although a little out of the town , it was more than adequate for an evenings stay. Greeted very warmly by the hosts and made to feel welcome. My room was immaculately clean and just lovely.

Superbly helpful staff; lift; location, easy walk to central square; Vitry is close enough to the A26 for this to be a stop off en route to/from ferry ports. Breakfast has lots of choice.

Uninspiring location. Quite a long way from the autoroute. I tried to book the hotel through Booking.com and used my credit card. Following this transaction, my credit card was used fraudulently several times and when I got to the hotel, I was asked to pay for the room again as the hotel advised that Booking .com had not paid for the hotel for the room.

Well heated bedroom. Good bed, towels and shower. The bedroom was excellent.

Sign saying that reception was closed on Sundays, which was the day we arrived, with no details to contact anyone. Having said that, the owner was in the hotel and when he saw us we had no problem getting checked in.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with an owner that spoke excellent English. The breakfast was extra but had hot food, scrambled egg, bacon and sausages, along with a continental offering. The hotel is located in a quiet area of the town within very easy access of the centre of Vitry-le-Francois. The town is a delight and the cobble-stoned centre square with a massive church, along with bars and restaurants, is just so typically French.

Great place for a stopover if you are travelling north of South on the autoroute. Not only a stopover town but a place of interest with a welcoming square. We have stayed here before. The hotel is immaculately clean and staff ultra friendly. Don't be put off by the immediate surroundings where there are many apartments. Locals very friendly. For those interested there is a running track/ sports stadium only 200 Mtrs away. Some excellent restaurants to choose from within walking distance.
