How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One minor item (a cupboard) in the room was broken. The entrance to the Hotel reception is in an alleyway (security gated) and steps within can be slippery in the wet.
A clean, tidy hotel in a very convenient location in the heart of Paris, within easy walking distance to the Moulin Rouge, Palais Garnier and a multitude of local bars and restaurants. The hotel is conveniently located equidistant between Gare du Nord and Gare Saint Lazare - about 20 min walk to either. Very friendly and helpful staff. A fantastic breakfast with a good selection of English and Continental food.

Walls are very thin so sound travels easily and in turn leading to complaints. For future would be nice if the hotel could consider placing group bookings next to each other.

Location, value for money
Great hotel in a fantastic location right up the road from the moulin rouge & Blanche metro station. Hotel was clean & tidy and staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Just our room was set down a weird coridor that you needed key card to access. Sometimes when left the room the coridor was pitch black so couldn't see.
Continental breakfast including scrambled eggs and bacon. Was quite nice.

Room was clean, big but literally next to entrance door and under the staircase & lift so noisy. Would prefer a room inside on my next stay

No gym - was a surprise to me that 4-star hotel won't have any. One receptionist in the rush hours makes checkin/checkout process a bit long. Breakfast not worth the price (15-18 eur)
Well located (200m from Moulin Rouge), comfortable hotel with normal set of facilities and enough space to stay comfortable while sleeping, but also small enough not to spend all time in the hotel and enjoy the city.

Rooms a little hot at night, but not a big deal.
Close to metro and good location. Friendly and helpful staff and adjoining room suited family with 2 teenage boys. While on the small side, rooms are more spacious than our accommodation in London. Had lots of eating options for breakfast and dinner within short walks. Would stay again if returning the Paris.

The attitude of older guy in the reception during the night shit was not good. He removed the chairs in the court yard after 23:00 when he was in charge. Most of the 2-3 star hotels serve coffee all day but this one is not allowing you to get one except breakfast. They provide a cattle for coffee in the room but it was not working properly. I asked this older guy to replace it but nothing happened.
Location is good and very close the metro station. Breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable and all staff (except one) were friendly and helpful with smiling faces

there's a distance between the reception and another building (close to the main road) Since I wasn't allocated in the same building as the reception, I had to carry by luggage from the entrance to reception to check in, then walk the staircases again back to that building
Location is good, room size is also good. Heating system works and it's warm enough during winter time. I recommend this hotel for both work and vacation.

I didn't like the carpet in the room, it looked a bit dirty and mini bar fridge was empty.
Room was nice, clean and bed was excellent. Very nice stuff. Definitely would stay again.

One of our rooms the ac did not work great however we open the window which help.
The location was great, very clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable the front desk girls were very nice and the housecleaning ladies worked very hard.
