Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lift is ridiculously small- we only used once. Took the winding staircase instead- which was fine as we were only on 2nd floor.
Location is excellent- lovely area - very safe to walk around in- even late at night. If you don’t fancy getting public transport then it is possible to walk to the main sites from this location. The room is small but sufficient- clean comfortable had a tiny balcony which is a nice touch. You can borrow an iron from reception- staff are lovely. The free Breakfast is more than adequate. Best 3 star I’ve stayed in. Couldn’t fault it and I’m usually fussy!!

BulgariaEvery morning the garbage truck woke us up at 7am. It was very noisy and the windows isolation was very poor. The lift in our section was so tiny, my son and I barely fit in with a suitcase. Plus it was next to our room so everytime someone got off, the door would slam right next to us.
The location was convenient, 10min from Gallerie Lafayette. Room was clean. Breakfast was nice, I was only missing scrambled eggs, but there were boiled ones.

Thailanda downside of this hotel is that the WiFi signal is very poor, to the point where it is practically unusable.
The hotel is located in a great area, making it convenient for traveling to and from the airport, as well as from Gare du Nord train station. Around the hotel, there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. On the 1st floor lobby, there is a comfortable seating area with self-service tea and coffee. There is also a microwave and dining utensils available for use. Breakfast is standard, offering bread, ham, and cold cuts. The rooms meet the typical standards of an Ibis hotel, equipped with a lift and air conditioning. However,

United StatesNo coffee or tea in the room, had to go to the ground floor.
This hotel is in a good location, a five minute walk to Gare Saint Lazare as well as metro stops. There are restaurants within a short walking distance. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, beds comfortable. The bedroom is a small size though ok for two people, and our bathroom had a tub with shower. Breakfast was good with meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, cereals, crepes and also fresh squeezed orange juice and really good coffee. This hotel,is good value for the money.

I was left with good impressions for this hotel. The room may be small but it had all the necessary things you need while traveling. The staff was really helpful and pleasant. The location was really good, next to many bus stations, metro station and train station. Even though the breakfast didn't have a big variety, it had enough savory and sweet options to enjoy a hearty breakfast.

BulgariaThe rooms are pretty small at least ours was. There is no wardrobe or something, just a few hangers for the clothes. Also the shower cabin was too narrow and it’s not convenient for big people.
The hotel has a good location, near transportation and on commutable distance from the main landmarks. The breakfast was very good - not many choices, but had everything necessary for every taste. I like that there is a water dispenser and tea in the lobby for the guests, and that the hotel is following sustainable practices. I didn’t expect the balcony and it was a good surprise.
