There was no air conditioning in the rooms and it was warm. We called the desk and they brought us a fan which helped a lot. Rooms are very small.

The bed was comfortable although we dislike having the duvet as the cover for the bed. It gets way too warm! The bathroom was handy although small with a good shower and lots of hot water. Lighting in bathroom was good. Internet was good. We did not eat breakfast here but got something across the street at McDonalds for a lot less than the hotel price for breakfast.

Dusty skirting boards and corners of carpet. Spoilt the general ambience of the room. Perhaps more care needed when cleaning rooms, after all it is not a 'Budget' hotel.

Easy to locate. Comfy atmosphere, not too hot or too cold. Large choice for breakfast. Ideal stopping off point on long journey from south back to UK. Plenty of places nearby to eat.

A very small twin bedded room for £114! The whole room was very small (only suitable for one person) and 2 people had to slide past each other to move around the room or go to the bathroom. The bathroom was very small, you could not have children in the room with you if you had too. The shower did have some mould on the edging. No mini bar, no safe – no facilities. The website photos are a fair likeness to the rooms, but do not give a good feel for the size of the room. Also it was too far a drive from the South of France and we should have stopped well before Riems. Next time, however, I think I would prefer staying at the Novotel, which is next door, or stopping beforehand and staying at a 4 star!!

The breakfast was plentiful, (what was lacking in the room the breakfast made up for (however this was £11 each)), you could even make yourself hard boiled eggs (that is you could work out how to use the boiler)! The staff were nice, spoke English. The rooms were quiet. The rooms were clean from what we could see, the beds were clean no marks on the sheets or mattress, the bathroom was clean. There were the complimentary soaps, gels and tissues.

Having a family room available would have been good. We were travelling in July and there was a good chance they were all taken.

It was a stop-over for my family (wife and three kids under the age of 10) on our way down to the south of France. It was a bit cramped (as we were given two adjoining rooms) even though we'd specifically asked for a family room. However, it was clean, easy to find and the breakfast was comprehensive.

breakfast wasnt terrible, rooms were very small. Typical booking.com problem: we found this hotel because we were looking for a room for 2 adults and 3 children and the search engine showed us this hotel at the top of the list. what we then got wasnt the promised family room for 5, but 2 connected tiny rooms with only 2 double beds. No problem, because the smallest one is only 4 and could sleep with her brothers in 1 double bed, but again - we booked for 5 and would have expected a room for 5, not 4. This is not the first time this happens and i think its a problem with the way the search engine is set up. we only stayed for 1 night as we were travelling back from Lorient to Luxembourg, but if we had to book something again in Reims, it wouldnt be this hotel.

As is often the case the fitness room is pretty basic. There is no separate bar as such but the friendly receptionist will serve drinks for consumption at the tables and chairs in the reception area (where breakfast is also served).

This is a basic hotel on the outskirts of Reims, convenient as a stopover on a motorway journey. Ideal if all you want is bed and breakfast to break a journey. It is about two and a half miles from the city centre so if you actually want to do any tourism you need to plan for a car journey, a taxi fare (about 18 euros) or a 45-minute walk. The people are friendly, the rooms are comfortable (not air conditioned) and the breakfast was adequate. There is no evening restaurant but there are a couple of (relatively unexciting) restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking and the wifi was fine.

Choice at breakfast could have been a bit better, but it was still very good.

The most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in! Didn't arrive until 1am and the member of staff was waiting for us. Nice large rooms, close to the motorway.

Perfect hotel for a stopover. Clean & modern rooms, great location just off the motorway. Supermarket & restaurants all within a few minutes walk.

Third child's bed in room was slightly short. But my teenage son still slept well in it.

Clean and perfect for an overnight stop. Good value grill restaurant very close by with lovely food. Very pleased with the choice.

No air conditioning in the room, plus compact dimensions made the twin room we had like a pizza oven, even with the blinds down as recommended.

Basic hotel which was OK as a stopover for a single night. The room service capability was welcome as it was a hike to anywhere to eat outside of the hotel and there isn't an onsite restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was fine though.

The water didn't drain away very well in the showers.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The adjoining rooms were clean, comfortable and ideal for travelling with primary age children. The breakfast had a good choice and there was plenty to eat. The Chinese buffet just across the road was very good value with lots of dishes, including desserts and was popular with the whole family. There's also a huge Carrefour about 300m down the road which we used to stock up on our next day's lunch for the onward journey and any forgotten items. We will definitely use this as an overnight stop in future.

We did not get much sleep due to the Lack of AC. This meant we had to open the window which lead to a hot and noisy night.

The Staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. The place also seemed clean.

    Needs air-con in summer.

Great value. Great staff. Good breakfast. Clean modern rooms. If it had air conditioning it would be just as good as the Ibis next door, which costs 50% more.
