Everything was perfect!

We were really impressed by the place; it was very beautiful, spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the whole experience was positive from the beginning to the end. To add, I forgot some crucial items and Florence and her husband initially gave me directions and then kindly offered to drop me to the supermarket. I was extremely touched by the gesture. To add, Colmar was a wonderful surprise.

My husband is wuite sensitive and our room was not fully soundproof. We could hear doors and voices ince people enter the house. But not a big thing.

Villa Elyane is such a place which we are fortunate about to discover while traveling. The old mansion is carefully renovated and restored by keeping the character and original furniture of the family who originally built that house. You see it’s history in every single detail which are combined with modern way of living - something we really love! Florence is a wonderful host who made our welcome warm and our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is stunning! Fresh local products, crispy croissants, home made joghurts, organic juices, eggs at your choice…..Couldn’t be better.

This beautiful old manse, quite near the train station, and a lovely walk to old town Colmar exceeded all my expectations for a bed and breakfast. Our room was huge, outfitted with modern amenities, and the bed was exceptional. Breakfast, served in the antique-filled dining room with its stained glass windows, was an ample continental breakfast. Our hostess was gracious and helpful, finding a taxi for us on a sleepy Sunday morning.

We should have stayed more days in Alsace!

Florence is a fantastic and kind host! The Villa is very close to the train station and 15 minutes away from Petite Venice. The hand and bath cleanser provided was lovely.

It was a great house! There was growing tomatoes in the garden. They had piano, pool, table tennis there! And a lovely cat! We had a pleasant breakfast and a lovely experience there!

Nothing, it's all perfect.

Wow - this place is fantastic. Very nice owners. Huge breakfast buffet with everything you could want to eat. Best of all, luxury linens and a bed so comfortable I didn't want to leave it in the morning! The property is beautiful too. Would definitely return.

Nothing really; a little more flexibility in check-in time would be good.

The house was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of space in the room, easy to park car onsite. Building is tastefully decorated. For someone arriving by train the house would be conveniently located.

Beautiful house, very spatious and comfortable room and bathroom. Florence went the extra mile to make our stay great, a delicious breakfast in the morning and a welcoming space full of art and travel books where you can enjoy some down time. we would definitely be back to Villa Elyane when back in Alsace.

The Villa - a comfortably elegant building with art nouveau flourishes throughout - was once a family home that has been lovingly restored and thoughtfully updated. It's located in a quiet, charming neighborhood within easy walking-distance of the train station and the older parts of Colmar. Breakfast - an assortment of delicious cheeses, meats, eggs, cereals, and locally made pastries and jams - was served in the lovely dining room/breakfast porch. Florence and Yvon were exceptionally gracious, helpful, and accommodating.

I can’t really find fault wi the property at all. If I was going to comment about anything negative is there was no shower soap or shampoo but we generally bring our own.

I can’t brag enough about this property. The location is perfect especially if you are coming in on the train. if you are driving it is much easier to drive in this neighborhood versus other towns in Southern France.

Very impressed with the restoration/conservation works undertaken- modernised facilities and yet retaining charm of a villa. Well tended grounds and gardens too. Lovely breakfast room and terrace. Tranquil environment and yet just a short walk to train station and nearby to the old city. Loved the fact too that there are only five rooms. Fabulous! Florence was very hospitable and available to help with any queries. Highly recommended.
